Now I know many of you are already tired of these drop hackers, lag hackers, or people stream sniping, whatever.. Anyways, the other day my cousin LaGTTEzaLB was in a Skype chat with FlawlessKalu, Theognis(dude from QxG I believe), and Fever(random...) was in a call when Kalu was playing vs ROOTDestiny. Now this game really didn't matter because it was a custom game, but still she cheated and they helped her by telling her what Destiny is doing. This isn't as a big deal due to the fact that anyone can stream snipe in custom or ladder games, but what becomes more serious is she does it in clan wars.
Yesterday a clan war had taken place between vVv and RH. Kalu is obviously on RH and was up against the one and only, vVvTitan. Now your thinking Titan or Kalu... Hmm, I wonder where I'm going to place my liquidbets... Kalu ends up obviously winning the game which was pretty much a shocker, but how can it be if your cheating with her partner in crime Ognis(its ashame you helped when your in such a prestigious team). Anyways enough of that we have an audio of Fever on the call with Kalu and EzaLB talking about "He would never rat our Kalu for cheating, because he has her back". I also have some screenshots of him saying "nah, she's a friend. i'd let a friend cheat. i don't care that she has a vagina rofl".

Hopefully she doesn't get any "special attention" due to the fact that shes a girl because cheating is cheating and it should be pointed out.

This problem can be eliminated simply by setting stream delay. I still think stream sniping is an awful thing to do, but if you decide to stream an important match with no stream delay, then stream sniping is something you should definitely expect.

I do not know the players or the details other than taking your word for what you say, but you are correct, cheating is cheating whether you have boobs or not. It is one thing to cheat in customs against friends or whatever because it does not matter, but not in league or clan games. It is just pathetic how much stuff like this appears to happen. I hope that a huge cheating scandal never erupts in the pro community like the Savior/BW issue. Oh well, it is human nature and will happen. The Black Sox, The Fresno State point shaving, and other events show that cheating will always be part of the game. You will never kill, but that does no mean that you should not try.

Interesting... sounds like something did happen due to the audio... I happen to like RH though, hope no cheating was actually involved as I have friends on both teams. If any more info comes out of this or anybody admits to anything I think anybody who cheats should get banned from competing.
That being said, in general, cheating a shitty thing to do... just because the option is available and it is so easy to do doesn't mean you should. Hopefully vVv vs RH was clean an honest.

Chairman, it's not even that.. If your playing between skilled teams it should definitely require the "honor system", we don't see EG cheating vs fnatic or something.. Disappointing.

Wait, are you the ReseT I played with over a year ago in my division? This was back when Diamond was the highest ranking and we were competing for the top spots in the division (even though I had like...thirty games fewer than everybody else but like a 68% win ratio ROFL).
I remember a game where I did a Raven/Medivac/Marine/Tank attack against your Protoss on LT; you went stalkers and the PDD I put down ended up letting me break up your ramp.
EDIT: Also I remember theognis from like...2003 in BW hahaha. Still remember his user/pass combo when making private games XD

It was WNS $100 CW They were down 3-1 I think when Flawless stepped up. FYI @luckyfool... Titan made it further then you did at MLG. (You were knocked out by vVvMurDeR, and Titan lost to NGry)

I hope this wasn't the case. Luckily its not that much of an issue since they did not wind up winning the event. In the future I hope things like this don't surface, the whole situation seems very shady.. but I am not going to falsely accuse

I will agree on the lack of accomplishments but not easy ladder wins. When I give a damn about ladder games I will perform very well. So, I do not think I am overrated tbh considering I'm an unknown amongst the community. Perhaps to you I am known, but to others, no.
As for the game, I only lost due to not making banelings (forgot I had a nest, durrr). Had that not happened,kalu woulda lost even with cheating and me losing the economic edge having going baneling bust (which this all makes sense now considering she scanned me at a time that made sense not).
Aside from that, the stream will be fixed and Kalu remains worthless. I do not care that she cheated because the loss was my fault.

I remember her facing catz, in three days and I'm just quoting catz and Steven here, but she got significantly better AND her hotkeys were completly different, so I don't know if it's even her but w/e something isn't right for sure.

While the evidence isn't conclusive, it does make things suspicious, especially the part where he pauses and goes "well I'm not going to say because Joey's here" and the particular phrasing of "I thought you were going to rat out Kalu, and I got her back" [quotations not exact, but the important word of course is "rat" and the message of the first statement].
The first is self-evident. The second is particularly so because you really only rat someone out if there is actually something to rat out. There's the potential for a simple error in word choice, but as is, it's odd.

If you've evidence and it's good enough to punch it, then that's her problem I guess.

As an officer of RH and the leader of the team I assure you that cheating during clan wars and cheating in general is beyond any shadow of a doubt prohibited and action shall be taken in the event that ANY player is caught doing so.

TiTan baneling busts Kalu (after being scanned that it was coming) when she was opening hellion. Kalu responds with Blue Flame Hellion + Marauder scv all-in to take the win. Say what you will about All-Ins being undeserved wins, but suspected cheating in this event is absolutely absurd.

It's a bit hard to trust anything you say when you say something like "I'd have her back if she cheated." When I play competitively at games, I'm pretty offended if I found out a team mate/ friend was cheating. I just find it surprising you take that stance. Fever likes to defend Kalu. If you check this link out at about 11min in he defends her again after destiny looks at her hotkey setup from a week ago and from today. I didn't see the clan war games so I can't really say anything about that but I am pretty sure that someone else has been playing as her when she steamrolled destiny and catz

So she probably did stream cheat with a ghosting friend. There's nothing you can do to really prove it, which kinda sucks. But at least you put it out there for people to know about.

Get some replays up in hur. It does look unbelievably sketchy. Looks like she cheated for sure, which is just sad. Hopefully something is done.
Also I think all streams involved prizes should have delays on them no matter what. Just make it a habit with all streams and there will be much less of this nonsense

I was watching CatZ stream earlier today, and he played like four games vs Kalu. Honestly if it was Kalu then she is one of the best terran players I've ever seen in that the play in that she combined sick mechanics mixed with real smart high level tactics.
That being said, supposedly based on replays over the last week she has either gotten like ridiculously better strategically, mechanically, and changed her hot key setup.... or someone was playing for her against CatZ today.

And in the games vs Destiny where she prevented a spine burrow attempt like 4 times in a row with 2 SCVs during a 2rax bunker rush, preventing the spine burrow allowed her to snipe the hatch.

If that was her in those games, not only would I not be surprised to see her go win several tournaments, but she'd also likely be one of my favorite Terran players.

Exactly my thoughts. After watching those Destiny games I started searching for more replays of her, and checking for a stream and stuff. Easily my new favorite TvZ player/playstyle. I just hope it either turns out to actually be her, or someone who is known to be really good, so I don't look like an ass for saying this >.<

Ofc players can change their hotkey setup, so it certainly isn't impossible that it is Kalu, although it does look a tad sketchy.
Yeah it isn't impossible but the mechanics, technique and all around play was leagues above what she looked like 10days before that. So IF this person wasn't Kalu I REALLY want to know who was playing for her. He/She/It was simply amazing.

I just watched her play like 5 games against some Terran that was offracing as zerg, he dominated her HARD every game. She obviously can't take games off of Destiny at her level of TvZ, let alone CatZ or any other GM zerg.

It was me.. I don't care what you all say, we've already cleared that I wasn't cheating in the clan war vs vVv, I talked with the manager.
I've been playing extremely well, practicing 12 hours a day. I am struggling in TvP and TvT.
and in regards to the "smashed 5games" I was practicing against the zerg counter style, and I wasn't smashed I was telling my partner to do this style to see what simcity would block the insane ling/baneling counters zergs do.
If all of the SC community wants to hate and call me fake, go ahead. I do not care, I will continue to practice, I will show results in tournaments I compete in, in the near future.

So what i've drawn from this thread is..
We have someone known for cheating/ having other people play for them in BW accused of doing the same thing here?
(since i just woke up ill ask, this might be an obvious question though) But was the people she was allegedly skype cheating with in the game?
Also; where is the replay?
If you want to prove/disprove someone as a cheater a replay is def needed, and some other hard evidence as well, even though a replay can often do it itself.

Looks like Kalu is being tried guilty by accusation to me. The evidence is paper thin, and the rest of it is gossip.
My view is that it is up to streamers to set delay on their streams, and they have no right to accuse anyone of stream-sniping, especially without rock-solid proof.

The way CatZ described her play was "a more intelligent Major." When Destiny compared the replays of Kalu he said that the APM was the same on the games he knew 100% it was her and the games where he got owned. Only thing that was different was the hotkey setup. I don't think she was stream-cheating personally, but to change your entire hotkey setup in a week and to play at the same level - let alone higher seems a bit far fetched to me. Hotkey usage is kind of like a fingerprint - In fact you could probably find out who that really is by the hotkey setup if we had replays to compare it to. If it is really her though, she definitely has a new fan - some amazing plays by her.

Yeah, I suppose this is pretty well the case.
I apologize for my part in gossiping, I was mostly just going off what I'd seen and heard vs ranking. I wasn't trying to point fingers, was pretty well just interested in the TvZ showcased on CatZ stream.
Confidence in a matchup can do a ton of good to boost someones game. I know my mechanics are a lot better in whichever matchup I am most confident in at any given time.

The Hard part for me to believe is she stated she's having problems with Tvp and TvT yet shes beating players like incontrol on ladder? Easiest way to solve it is have her stream a best of 3 vs Destiny ( or well known player ) with possibly a cam on showing her playing? I feel like if she cared at all and wanted to prove herself she would consider something like this.

I'm not really familiar with kalu's playstyle, but the unique strategies used could have been learned in 10 days of practice with good practice partners, especially given it's only 1 matchup. It's also possible to switch hotkeys in a short period of time if you practice a lot. I don't think you can count any of that as evidence, even if everything else sounds suspicious. Either way, good games vs destiny and catz.

I don't think 10 days with 12hrs a day of practice is going to get you to a code S level of play from a standard NA master level player, strategies =/= mechanics, THAT is what i find suspicious. Hell if it took that much to get really good I should find me some practice partners and claw my way out of gold =3

A player named Trimaster was pretty "meh" a while ago, but in a month of practice, I think he's grown to be one of the best T's on NA.
There are other players, too, like minigun, who have made vast amounts of improvement over short periods of time. I don't know what went on with this vVv stuff, but I think that training 12 hours a day with the right teachers can lead to great improvements over short periods of time.

Hate to break it to you but 10 days at 12 hours a day is 120 hours, which is probably about what I've spent at all, total, playing 1's SC2...and I have multiple accounts in masters for each race.
So you probably shouldn't use your own substandard learning methods/ability to project judgement on someone else.

Please don't post accusations without proof. It's important that this community treats cheating seriously when it happens, part of that implies not going around accusing people without any evidence. If your cousin was in that Skype convo he should have recorded it. Right now you just heard something from your cousin and are declaring it as fact because someone said he has her back.
This isn't a judgment on whether or not this happened this is an explanation of how you need to treat opening a thread on TL.
