So it's been around a year now since the release of SCII and I see that there are still copious BW fans that are sc2 players. From a BW player's perspective, I don't get it and I would like to understand the reasons why you guys still play SC2 rather than BW.
The reason for this is because I think I might have an ultimate solution to rescue the livelihood of those playing SC2 but I kind of don't want to tell anyone because that would only continue to cause divisiveness in our community.

personally, I play both and watch both, although I tend to play more SC2 and watch more BW. BW esports scene has a higher skill level and is more developed, but I'm very positive SC2 will reach that level in the future.

BW is fun to watch but fighting horribly outdated controls by actually playing it isn't my idea of a good time

Never played bw, switched to sc2 from fps games.

in my city (vancouver) the sc2 scene is very lively and we have very popular lans every month that are a lot of fun and nothing for BW
i have nothing but respect for everyone who sticks with tbw and i still think its awesome. so is sc2, they are very different games aside from the name and should be treated as such

what exactly are you trying to achieve which such an offensive poll? The same would be if someone else would opened up a poll "why do you still play bw, sc2 is out for over a year"
