Nestea is in a MAJOR slump guys, he's only final 8 of GSL & still alive. Only for him, would that be considered slumping.

There is a difference between no best player and no way to differentiate the best player. I doubt that everyone has the same skill leve, of "similar" there is still a best. I agree that no one can claim one to be the best player for certain, but there is still a throne.

I would say that the throne match of the season would be decided with fruitdealer vs Nestea. Yes, fruitdealer has not been performing as well as he should, he lacks many tournament wins and has disappointed time and time again in GSL. But this is GSL guys, this is still the most prestigious tournament in sc2, this is still where people play at the highest lvl and guess what, fruitdealer is still in its top division. Hes still hanging in there with the best and has manage to keep his code s spot. I believe hes also one of the few players has qualified for every GSL as well as Code S.

But my vote went for DIMAGA. He's really good, but not to consistent against the top tier the way I see it.
Behind that is July, LosirA and NesTea in random order.

People like Younghwa and Losira have good strategies, but their mechanics are not as solid as some people, such as Nestea and IdrA's. MC's mechanics are great, but needs tuning. As we saw in MC vs Liquid'RET in NASL, regardless of whether he won or not:

MC noticed the Nydus worm in Game 2 (Tal' Darim) right in his vision too late. He lacks the BW skill of noticing things in the mini-map instantly. He claims he is perfection, but no player is near that level.
