Nobody. If somebody, NesTea. After July wins the July GSL, he'll take over the "if somebody" spot. Unfortunately he won't be able to win another GSL until next July, so Zerg will simply have to settle for a "if somebody has to" king for a while.

Personally I can say who is not and thats Idra. His play is predictable. Which makes it easy to take advantage of. His only advantage is that he has better macro then the average NA/EU player which gains him hardcore fanboys. But in Korea he's just an average GSL player.

If i had to say who was. NESTEA. He consistently shows good results and isn't know to die to cheese and ragequit for no apparent reason. Plus he's got titles. Chicks dig Titles.

Those are all amazing Zerg players but I don't feel any of them have shown dominance similar to that of MVP and MC so far the throne remains empty till one of those zergs rolls through a few tournaments with ease.

It is indeed funny how not winning anything for a long period of time makes you one of the best players out there, according to some people. Idra is really solid but not a champion nor a king.
For me the zerg king is Nestea by far, he had the toughest road to his championship. Instead of whining about balance he actually proved everyone wrong, and thus remains my zerg idol forever. I'm expecting a lot from him and Losira this GSL tho, ZvZ finals please!

If Mondragon practiced a little bit more and showed himself in tournaments, I think he would easily be on top. Because the TSL matches were insaaane, and he said he didn't practice that much at all ...

But that's only my opinion.

Right now I think JulyZerg plays really good, but I'm not sure, if he really is the best Zerg.

idrA ALL THE WAY, lately he has been TEARING it up, like a boss! - i think people need to realize that while he has been in a ZvP slump for some time (and honestly he has faces unreal amounts of P's in recent tourneys) - it is OVER.

i feel like, MLG showed that idrA is really strong again, and then in the first day of him at NASL he rocked it, and now IPL is getting rolled! - and its against stuff he looses to normally ( or at least cheesy stuff) - and he wrecks it!

Yeah but that's just Mondi. He never practices and always just luckboxes his wins ^^
I think he'd be a contender, but he isnt actively playing that much recently.
Have to agree with the "empty throne" argument, though I'd say Dimaga or Losira is the best Zerg atm.

What about IdrA - he is amazing player. If you compare his fpvods with someone's like dimaga, then you see that idra's play is more impressive, even though dimaga is top level zerg as well.
