Compare him to Lebron James, he was tired of Cleveland because he knew he was never gonna win a title with them, so he joined the team with biggest potential, though we still need to see those results. Than compare him to someone like Cristiano Ronaldo, who already was on top of the world with Manchester United, but in the end joined Real Madrid just for the money and hasnt won a thing with them. In sports it all comes down to money and titles, Juan realised that in ROOT he wont get either and decided to leave the team, Kinda same QXC did, he realised that in ROOT he wont get the money to do what he wants so he decided to leave and join a team that will give him that. Honestly i like ROOT and especially drewbie who i think is the best NA terran but i fully support Juans decision to leave the team and find a new one that will support all his needs. GO GO E(electronic)SPORTS and not E(entertainment)SPORTS.

Also now Terran is getting what he wants to so he will most likely stay until the contract end (or longer if no better offers are on the table ^^).

GO GO E(electronic)SPORTS and not E(entertainment)SPORTS. It would be the equivalent of Lebron going to Miami, switching to New York mid season, switching to another team post season, the negotiations break down during the summer, lebron finds another team, and switches once again mid season. And then lebron insulting the organization's sponsors and saying that was the reason he left even though he should have clearly been aware of the team's situation before he decided to join

Besides, we're talking about a 17 year old kid here. The grown-ups among us should probably step back from trashing him all that much. While I do agree on getting paid before doing work the mindset you have isnt that you are entitled to get paid for your intentions but for what you can contribute. Terran though basically says that he should get paid for his time that he is planning on putting in. It's splitting hairs but there is a pretty huge difference since all he has to his name is basically raw talent but a very shaky past. With his past I'd be happy to even be picked up by a team let alone feeling entitled to getting paid before actually showing any results. I agree though that all the bashing really need to stop, it's counter productive and really leads to nowhere and as you said he's 17 and just a kid. You cant really expect him to act like an adult just yet(even though it's getting fairly close to that time ![]() and for anyone who might be a bit confused, I was laughing at what Terran said not at him as a player or person ![]()

And LOL @ anyone giving Juan shit for leaving ROOT, Sheth and QXC have done the same thing for the same reason and I don't see anyone getting as mad at them. I love Root-gaming, but this is a pretty sweet pickup.

Artosis, it's "Artosis' first recruit" not "Artosis's" You should join: http://www.apostrophe.org.uk/ I was not involved in Brood War and did not watch any of Juan's games - if his macro Terran game sense and decision making remains then he'll certainly be somebody to look out for. I have no idea where he is in terms of current skill or team loyalty but I assume anyone putting in the time and commitment whilst playing on Korean servers can and will improve.

GO GO E(electronic)SPORTS and not E(entertainment)SPORTS. I fully agree with this, if people want sc2 to grow to become a SPORT they have to realize what a SPORT includes... It's not just good things in sports, there's more BM due to the competitive nature and team hopping isn't something unusual, Juan wants to make a living out of gaming I guess, if he feels that he couldn't achieve that in ROOT then I don't see what's wrong with him changing team...
