Grunt micro right there, gotta love the orc king.
Why dont you write what is so special about it?
why did i watch that, what is the godlike move?
placing 3 zealots on hold?
are you kidding?
what he did :
+ Show Spoiler +In a pvp, after defending an attack he warped 3 zealots between the enemy stakers that were retreating and his base, and blocked the other guy's ramp, so he couldn't get into his base - 4.35 in the husky video. Quite nice actually, nice find.
Where is it in the video? Not everyone is going to sit through that whole thing.
I think I just peed a little in my pants.
It's @ 4:30.
indeed agodlike move, no one ever blocked an enemy ramp before
I think you are overhyping it
holy shit that was sickhahaha
The whole thing is 6minute in total. But skip to the last few minutes if you want to see a nice tactical move by grubby. It was just icing on a cake where he already had a huge lead.
His micro I believe was more impressive than blocking the ramp itself.
Godlike? Really? I mean it was nice but...
Nice move, but nothing really "godlike".
I love grubby, he's very creative. He also was the guy that introduced hallucinated templars to me.

This wasn't that great, definitely overhyped with the thread title.
He puts 3 zealots on the ramp on hold. Is that the godlike move? :|
Smart tactical play, but not a insane move....

good move but nothing to go crazy about Oo

Everything Grubby does is godlike move. Get over it.

I thought it was a quite common strategy. With sentries force fielding the ramp to prevent reinforcements from coming out a of the main can be crucial in pushes. Blocking your opponents ramp in ZvZ if they go lings vs your roaches is also extremely effective.
A while ago there was a post talking about using changelings to block your opponents ramp during engagements.
I think that was pretty nice
I wouldn't have thought of it, thats for sure
Thanks for sharing
I've done this before, it's nothing special in my opinion, but it is moves like this that win PvP.
Haha i actually watched this the other day and was seriously impressed. Clutch move right there with the zealots
Very nice play. Have actually never seen any1 do that! Grubby hwaiting!!
Nice move yes, godlike no.
Shows how much potential this guy has. Great game !
LOL at the Romanians in this thread (responding to Cloud's post)
(yes, it's ok if I make one of those jokes)
That was nice. Not even close to godlike.
great play. it was little tactics that really excited me in BW, i'm glad to see someone playing so deliberately and with such consideration for detail in sc2. bravo grubby.
I think I've seen HuK doing something similar in a casted game either by Day9 or Artosis.
Shit that was some really creative stuff. I've never seen that before. Nice GRUBBY!

when was the last time you even considered blocking your opponents ramp with 3 zealots so his stalkers cant get up their ramp?
Thats cute and creative but not GODLIKE

it was sarcasm.
I like the changeling block better.
All in all nothing special but sometimes it takes a good player to get these "tricks" out there as common knowledge among us players that are mere mortals.
that was nice, but OP you're exaggerating it by describing it Godlike. lol.
im sure hes done many moves much more impressive than that
nice move but the game was pretty much over way earlier.
indeed an awesome move, but a thread of its own? c'mon =)
i wonder how you think about doing that in game... that is pretty crazy
That's the thing about Grubby, he does things like this all the time. It's cool that he plays Protoss because he can take advantage of their micro potential.
White-ra would like to have a word with you about "totally insane" things.
I appreciate you showing me that. It was good. Godlike no but a good move
Godlike? Really? I mean it was nice but...
it was a smart move, but it wasnt like crazy micro it didnt take to much apm or anything
It's really smart, but lots of players do it, or things with the same intentions. HuK, etc. Any good P player.
I was a little disappointed but it was a nice trick. He was already winning by a lot though. Also, hold position was unnecessary as it caused him to lose a zealot when the sentry and the enemy zealot was attacking the edge zealot and the other 2 weren't fighting. This wasn't much better than a normal flank or anything either...Zealots attacking would have been better T___T
good move but nowhere near godlike...
It was not godlike but it was one of many great little moves that grubby is capable of This is nothing new and nothing special which requires a lot of APM but i doubt that many players would have done this in this situation so props to grubby
a sentry would've done the same thing, but ok, it was pretty cool.
it was as if the zealots did what he told them to do, just amazing...
ya very nice move but far away from godlike
I was expecting something out of this world, but came to find a standard zealot block :<
psht i do this is in my sleep. it's actually the backbone of my pvp. i taught this move to grubby and was standing over his shoulder when he did it, come to think of it.
If a silver player did that, we all be like cool....but when grubby does it we are omfg...godlike lol
Wow... Godlike? Youtube kids never cease to amaze me.
