Hi TL,

Grubby did something totally insane on one recent game, and I've noticed that it has gone a bit unoticed so I wanted to share with everyone.

Why? Because sometimes starcraft2 is an art, and that game is a good example of it

replay here: http://www.gosugamers.net/starcraft2/replays/45224
and husky cast here: http://www.youtube.com/user/HuskyStarcraft#p/u/6/DbZ0ZORk6rE

Thank you Grubby <3

what he did :

+ Show Spoiler +
In a pvp, after defending an attack he warped 3 zealots between the enemy stakers that were retreating and his base, and blocked the other guy's ramp, so he couldn't get into his base - 4.35 in the husky video. Quite nice actually, nice find.

The whole thing is 6minute in total. But skip to the last few minutes if you want to see a nice tactical move by grubby. It was just icing on a cake where he already had a huge lead.

I thought it was a quite common strategy. With sentries force fielding the ramp to prevent reinforcements from coming out a of the main can be crucial in pushes. Blocking your opponents ramp in ZvZ if they go lings vs your roaches is also extremely effective.

A while ago there was a post talking about using changelings to block your opponents ramp during engagements.

I like the changeling block better.

All in all nothing special but sometimes it takes a good player to get these "tricks" out there as common knowledge among us players that are mere mortals.

I was a little disappointed but it was a nice trick. He was already winning by a lot though. Also, hold position was unnecessary as it caused him to lose a zealot when the sentry and the enemy zealot was attacking the edge zealot and the other 2 weren't fighting. This wasn't much better than a normal flank or anything either...Zealots attacking would have been better T___T

It was not godlike but it was one of many great little moves that grubby is capable of
This is nothing new and nothing special which requires a lot of APM but i doubt that many players would have done this in this situation so props to grubby
