The last three games he played he won, and that was 3 month before switching to SC2. Neither was savior. Remember Savior's promise to destroy everyone in 2009? Well he nearly did, having a long streak and high winrate, and came close to starleague success. When Savior fights hard, you know he is an imminent danger, the dark horse who cannot be ignored. That was true at the beginning of 2009 when he had a small streak going and went as far as Zero in the MSL. But later he was just losing all of his games, save his last win (killing JD with zerglings just as JD had done to him in WL finals).

I'm not saying his fixed matches himself, but there is concrete proof he brokered match-fixing, and IMO, brokering fixed matches and getting others to fix matches is even worse. That still means he betrayed the trust of everyone.

He put the jobs of those people at risk. If someone suddenly threatened your job and source of income, how would you feel?

It's more than that but other people's job too (an entire industry).
Currently SC2 won't help much either (with eSports in Korean anyway). With GOM having exclusive rights (one tournament) for SC2 it also means that SC2 isn't a viable option for many people either (so either compete normal with BW or compete in a small tournament where 32 out of hundreds only get a decent amount of prize money. Salaries in SC2 are almost non-existent currently[least compared to BW salaries]).
Though yeah I can understand both sides easily.
Some may feel he's not really sorry because he's making money off of SC (even after what he had done) but at the same time if he needs money, he needs to make money somehow (getting a job may not be easy especially with the scandal being so recent).

Ooh, that'd be awesome. Then we could put out a MST3K styled commentary as well. It'd be epic.

He's using his past fame earned from the BW scene, which he betrayed, to gain money.

wasnt it dispelled as a rumor on a forum that savior had lied to the coach about match fixing?

To be honest I watched his stream because of his ability, not his fame.

1. themarine (split into three tweets) I was very shocked during a broadcast today. I went into one of the famous esports websites (either fomos or des, he doesn't specify) to see what reactions to the broadcast were like, but i saw that articles about savior were getting more hits and replies than the broadcast. they were even calling him ma-bonjwa. i am going home right now, and i've been thinking about this and i've feel worse and worse. all people need to have some conscience. i don't know what he's thinking, coming back so quickly to the scene that he had a very bad effect on. it's somewhat sad. how should i take this? it's even sadder that people are giving him this attention. i wonder who gave savior the idea to do this in the first place? is the esports scene viewed so lightly? this is a sad reality.
2. zergman, afreeca BJ i will be blacklisting and banning anyone who mentions savior in my channel. i am having doubts over doing this job (BJing) now that a criminal is doing the same job as me i do not feel very good. i will be either delaying or cancelling today's broadcast. thank you.
3. jung sorim, caster @ themarine: i'm also very stressed out over this. it feels like he's laughing at the tears i shed when he made his apology. why do i have to read about this? how did this happen? please, everyone, i beg you not to give this guy any attention.
4. xellos when looking at the recent k-league fixing scandal, you can see how serious this matter is... but why are esports fans so forgiving? this is very sad.
5. shim hyun, caster does he not know what he's done? even if he was being quiet and careful it would still not redeem him, yet he's trying to make money on afreeca? are you even human? did you run out of money to pay the credit card bills for your luxury shopping? *sigh* even dogs are above you. and who are those retards who are watching his broadcasts?
6. coach han is a lack of money making him a loser? or did he just lose all of his common sense? maybe i should buy him a balloon (star) too... Ah, Korean BW notable figures. Why do you have so much class? I would hate to live in a society this unforgiving. No wonder plastic surgery is so prevalent when people judge so adamantly and so quickly. It seems that there can't be any hero stories in such a society as redemption is impossible to these people.

Well okay it's bad to do illegal stuff. Keep in mind there are far more bad things one can do. It's been a couple of years, MBC game shutdown, BW slowly dying. I mean, who the fuck cares ? All these people tweeting are prolly going soon out of job. For all I know and remember Korea is a crook ridden country and I'm pretty fucking sure the match fixing scandal went much deeper and was much more global than people admitted. Some people don't care about the BW scandal, like me. I even find it amusingly well representing Korea's dark side of society. I mean, you have whorehouses litteraly every three doorstep of every busy street over there, every single male almost goes whoring every week end. I wish he could stream more. Savior is the only literal and true bw legend. Somehow his stupid action made him something else than the nerdy tv gimmick broadcast stations make progamer to be. And i'm glad for that !
edit : ah posted from wrong account --

redemption? redemption is for people who acknowledge their mistakes and wrongdoings, lead a life that is expected of them and then regain the trust and approval of those who cast him out in the first place. slowly. classily. humbly.
streaming on afreeca and trying to leech off his past fame is not a road to redemption.

this doesn't even make sense, and if you think of in it this way, i don't know how you've been watching bw/sc2 over the past few years.
you talk about "korea's dark side," well:
1. savior was a part of it with his actions. he facilitated the entry of your so called "dark side" people into the esports scene.
2. what does whoring have to do with esports? with savior? and whoring doesn't exist in france? you don't have any redlight districts in paris?
what makes you so sure that the fixing scandal was global?
"savior is the only literal and true bw legend"
get the fuck out of TL.

@tyce I think they are going by the saying that is " Once a liar , will always be a liar" so yeah . Though it's still hard for me to gulp down that we lost once a great player with lots of achievement and respect to him because of match fixing scandal . I am still hurting though as I use to brag a lot about these guy to anyone who is interested in starcraft broodwar stating his outstanding record and undefeated during his prime .
Now Flash has replaced his bonjwa throne but it's still a lost to the sc scene in my opinion . Ma je yong hope you do well in studies ^^ . Savior fan forever.

Despite me understanding the reason's you are hitting this guy with all your reasoning , you could at least edited the last part with more tone down agression . Tl.net is a forum and some times people say something to piss you off but you can't stop people from saying their opinion hence you might want to just ignored it and only mods have the right to really !#@$ people out of tl.net in my opinion.

haha i doubt france whore number reaches the 250 000 of korea. dude, dirty money is everywhere in korea. isn't hyundae owned by like the biggest gang family over there ? what i mean, is that match fixing seems to really fit in the picture oh and don't order me around
edit : no there's no redlight district in france. the redlight district is in amsterdam. Prostitution is illegal. trust me its much harder for the common folk to get a decent prostitute in france than it is in Korea. its actually funny how you think every major city must have a miari texas street or a redlight district, and goes to show how it is culturally tolerated in Korea. (just like in soooo many E asia countries sadly.)
