In australia prostitution is legal, I don't think it means a dead society at all. Also its a definite stereotype that Asian businessmen like or expect prostitutes when making deals (there was even a scandal about it in the news), so it wouldn't surprise me if there were a lot of prostitutes in SK. Doesn't mean the society is dead though.
Legal prostitution is a great thing. No matter the society there will be this aspect of the service industry and making it legal means regulations. In Australia whores have a safe work environment. It is not legal to pick up a street hooker or have one to your hotel room only in a licensed brothel. The girls are tested once a month for STDs so your better off banging a prostitute than that skank you picked up at the night club.
I've read about the matchfixing scandal a while ago when it came out. And from what I remember, Savior didn't actually fix games himself. Instead, he was brokering for other players, which most people seem to think it's even worse.
Recently, I've heard from a dependable source that he actually did fix games, and not few of them. I don't remember exactly which period it was, but apparently Savior was doing really good in the in-house ranking and whenever he would be sent out in Proleague he would just roll over and die.
So now I'm confused. If Savior only did broker for the likes of Hwasin & co, I find that not even remotely enough to make him the scapegoat of the whole debacle.
