savior losing on purpose to make money is a bit disappointing, he's one of my favorite player, the drama is exaggerated, when people do something bad, everybody have some tendencies to vomit on them as much as they can, it's like they need to feel that they are better than them. I am not saying KT coach could do something like that, but he certainly did bad things in his life, the thing is that it's not showing on tv, so he's safe to blame others. It's just childish.

Some ppl here just don't get it. Can anyone of us really understand the amount of work the teams, ogn and mbc and everyone involved really put into the growth of e-sports in korea? The amount of work and dedication is just absurd and here comes a person who shits all over it. The KT coach wasn't the one out of line. When you'll work your ass off and put your soul into something and someone comes to shit all over it then maybe you'll understand why the KT coach said what he said.

Basically, Savior ended up acknowledging everything and said that the reason for denying some things in the first hearing was because he "didn't know the charges were crimes." He also says that "after Hwasin began participating in the match-fixing, he half voluntarily and half reluctantly ended up mediating it." Of course, pretty much everyone believes Hwasin's side(that Savior was the one who recruited him) - who'd you believe? The guy who instantly apologized or the guy who denied everything from the beginning and then began conceding things one by one?

I can't seem to find the thread (or page, assuming it was in that particular thread) about coach Cho's statement that he would defend Savior and even threaten to sue those who claimed he had anything to do with the match fixing scandal.

Why would he do this? Because Savior went over to his place, got down on his knees and begged Cho to believe him, that he didn't have anything to do with it, and that it was all a misunderstanding. When the evidence concerning his involvement became undeniable, however, Savior then admitted and apologized. Real classy there, chief.

Now, while comparing him to a pedo is certainly going overboard, the man is still a disgrace. Match fixing is one thing, but shamelessly lying about something like this to a guy who considered and treated you as though you were his own son without any remorse is damn low.

This story was proven to be fake.

Wow, really? Can anyone else confirm this?

Well, it's good that the KT coach apologized, that's enough for me. I wish Savior could redeem himself from his mistake because even if he was a match fixer (really hated this), he was a force to be reckoned with.

The KT coach does seem to be very harsh at times, like when he shouted at Hyung Joon in the 1st ep.

He acted as a conduit of sorts between the betting community and progamers who were willing to throw games. I think he threw some games himself for money, then bet on himself to lose.

I'm not saying this is it, but if some opportunity comes somewhere down the line, and Savior can somehow help promote or contribute in any positive way, he should.

He should get a second chance at life in general yes, but probably not as a Starcraft player.

When they don't win, no food.

Also how do you think Savior broke his leg?

Kespa and co do their shit legally, because the laws for child labor and protection of "entertainers" which pro gamers are classified under are non existent.

If KTF ran their team in America the practices they follow would be illegal. Same with the coaches that beat their players when they lose.

Kespa itself is breaking the law extremely with regards to SC IP rights anyway.

no i was implying that him denying was a fault on his behalf (i.e he got harsher punishment because he denied initially, as opposed to others who admitted when they got caught or after they did the fixing.

And savior's statements does sound very fishy. I mean how could you not know the charges were crimes.
