Didn't Savior get prison time?

징역 1년, 집행유예 2년, 사회 봉사 120시간
1 year of jailtime, 2 years of probation, 120 volunteer hours
This doesn't mean he goes to jail.
According to the Korean system, if he stays quiet and doesn't commit crimes for the two years, he doesn't have to do the 1 year jailtime.

People are way too harsh on Savior, and comparing him to child molesters is indefensible. On that subject, however, if people like Michael Vick and pedophiles get a second chance, Savior should as well. What Savior did was unforgivable, but if he can somehow make positive contributions to the esports community, he should be given a chance. I'm not saying this is it, but if some opportunity comes somewhere down the line, and Savior can somehow help promote or contribute in any positive way, he should.

lol that coach got so mad, but Savior did so much bad stuff. i still cant believe how many good players (yeah they cheated but they were still skilled) got affected by this scandal. anyway, it'd be interesting to see if savior or any of the others started streaming but it seems itd just draw a lot of fire

Of course, match fixing is worse than child molestation. And being angry is better than having a level head. I just lost a lot of respect for the KT coach.

It's unclear why he'd do that. The GSL rejected his crew very early on.

Edit: Exactly, why would he switch to a new game just for fun with no professional prospects? BW has been his mistress for a long time.

He was mad and apologized, give him a break. Of course people explode at Savior, he was a player with a huge name and the whole scene is really small and fragile compared to real sports. All coaches and players worked endlessly to make this successful and that guy just spits all over that and brings a bunch of players with him. I think it's pretty alright to be mad.

There is no reason to think less of the KT coach. The korean community doesn't hone in like westerners about that child molester comment. Especially because he apologized and took it down.

Savior messed with something that is the livelihood of a lot of people, built upon years of hard work and impossible dedication, and disappointed thousands of fans and believers of BW progaming.

He deserves the worst of everything and no second chances.

He fixed matches, played the role as a broker, and embezzled some of the money that was supposed to go to the match-fixing progamers.

source plz? all i heard was that he fixed his own matches but denied everything through the end.

Idk, the "preparing something inbetween" part might hint to that, and given that the guy was known for being quite outgoing I wouldn't mind seeing him play in online tournaments or even abroad.

Being "mad" is not an excuse for unacceptable behaviour.

Good on the KT coach, but the child molester comment was over the line. Savior is a bad person who deserves no second chances or sympathy.

I don't think any non-korean teams are stupid enough to even try and recruit him. The guy is still black-listed in the esports industry and for good reason.

I can't seem to find the thread (or page, assuming it was in that particular thread) about coach Cho's statement that he would defend Savior and even threaten to sue those who claimed he had anything to do with the match fixing scandal.

Why would he do this? Because Savior went over to his place, got down on his knees and begged Cho to believe him, that he didn't have anything to do with it, and that it was all a misunderstanding. When the evidence concerning his involvement became undeniable, however, Savior then admitted and apologized. Real classy there, chief.

Now, while comparing him to a pedo is certainly going overboard, the man is still a disgrace. Match fixing is one thing, but shamelessly lying about something like this without any remorse to a guy who considered and treated you as though you were his own son is damn low.
