Does no one remember the abortion doctor from kansas, tiller? TILLER THE BABY KILLER! TILLER THE BABY KILLER! o'reilly had something like a dozen shows dedicated to TILLER THE BABY KILLER!!!!! finally someone, who watched o'reilly nightly and owned all of his books, shot the man while in church. Does everyone remember when the california highway patrol stopped a man armed to the teeth on the highway? He was going to go kill everyone at the tides foundation. Guess who his favorite pundit was: glenn beck. Glenn beck had dedicated something like 10 of his shows to tides foundation and how they were destroying america in the span of a few months. Despite being a local left-leaning non-profit charity(local as in not national), glenn beck demonized them as the masterminds behind the downfall of america. Don't even try and tell me that pundits don't have influence over the fringe elements of political groups. Yah but the tone was there. And it certainly needs to be addressed so that the tone of politics is made more respectful. This could be the militant far right.

If "getting shot" is going to be an occupational hazard of being a Democrat in certain states from now on, we're even more in trouble than I imagined. I wouldn't be surprised if she wanted to resign, but I'd give her massive props if she stays defiant and serves for a long time in spite of this.

Or if they shooter openly acknowledges doing this for Palin, I can easily see them calling out their use of crosshairs, as well as call to second amendment rights... they won't go as far as saying that it's completely their fault, and that they should be punished or put on trial or something, that's obviously ridiculous, but some of these radical ideas floating around from both sides of the fence need to be controlled. You can't just go around talking about using force, it's really really dangerous to play with fire, and that's exactly what some of these people are doing.

This morning, in an unspeakable tragedy, a number of Americans were shot in Tuscon, Arizona, at a constituent meeting with Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords. And while we are continuing to receive information, we know that some have passed away, and that Representative Giffords is gravely wounded. We do not yet have all the answers. What we do know is that such a senseless and terrible act of violence has no place in a free society. I ask all Americans to join me and Michelle in keeping Representative Giffords, the victims of this tragedy, and their families in our prayers.

Another (D) congressman from Arizona, whos name i didnt not get, said that politicians need to be more accountable for the things they say, and the way that they say it. Language used by politicians these days are extreme and can absolutely be interpreted as messages of violence
