Since I do not know what 2nd Amendment stands for, so I did a quick search on Wikipedia, it stated it's part of the United States Bill of Rights that protects the right of the people to keep and bear arms.
So what does that mean when she says the above? Is she seriously suggesting that people should use arms to change politics? Or is there another context? If not she is a crazy woman :S

Well, shit, stupid violent people always ruin the public's chance to access and influence their congresspeople.

It's a *nudge* *nudge* kind of way to suggest/imply that you understand the fringe elements of the party. I don't know what to make of the conservative party in this country, honestly.

That is likely what she means, and yes, she is a crazy woman.

She's implying exactly that. The woman is completely batshit insane. You should google more about her, there's some really priceless quotes from her.

Man... state is going corrupt...
I feel so bad for people like her. There is no reason in the job that she is in that she should have to worry about stuff like this happening.

"Jonathan Allen of Politico says that Giffords is involved with immigration and armed services issues."

I don't know if Arizona does that, or if it's like Massachusetts and has a special election for the seat (in the case of Ted Kennedy's death).

I hope she survives this. It'd be a shame to lose a representative in such a manner. Personally, I think that no representative, from any party, deserves this kind of fate. It's cruel and unforgiving, and I condemn those who encourage acts like this. I feel that there is always a way to talk things out, in fact there was a quote from someone (I can't recall the name >.<) that said something along the lines of "Violence is for those who are afraid of negotiation"

In case any of you had hope, she's dead now.

You condemn them, not condone them.

Sigh. We're not all assholes in Arizona, I swear.

My parents think that this was the work of a Mexican drug cartel. I doubt that, but why would they kill a Democratic Congresswoman? Aren't Repubs the ones trying to shut down the border?

This is pretty sad. It's also why I don't think people should be aloud to have firearms.

Thanks. I unfortunately added that to the OP... RIP

my bet is that she was involved in the drug cartel in some way. She's too low on the chain for this to be politically motivated.
