Although I'm still on the real-names-are-superfluous side I must admit that the announcement makes a great belated April Fools joke. Sadly it doesn't seem to be... but nevertheless an entertaining debate.  Well, now that's at least a name I wouldn't hide. | ||

The important things to mention are; [*]the fact that you were not made aware that your name would be used for Real ID when you originally provided it yeah basically this, there never anything about our name being public when you had first to fill your name in there... They should at least allow people to edit for now if they really want this | ||
