If anyone has proven how to moderate a forum, it's TL.net. People are banned and temp banned for trolling and being stupid. How is it blizzard hasn't caught on?

The problem with this is you can't control who knows who you are

In real life and in print, you have control of who know who you are. If this goes through and is unchallenged by the community and possibly a user rights lawyer, it will mean that companies will have the legal right to post your personal info online, without your consent. You can't give out my fucking info without my fucking consent. End of story. Anything less is stomping on my rights as a user. Same for everyone else.


This is a precedent in computer and online game and Clearly Activision is having a stronger effect on how Blizzard operates then people original thought they would.

This is clearly a move in the wrong direction and is clearly not good for the future of esports and the community in general.

Trolling and Flaming come from immature morons and will not be solved opening everyones name up to the world

This does not mean companies have the legal right to post your personal info. It just means they can require you to use your name to post on their forums. You consent to release of your name by usage of forums. If you don't consent, dont use them.
