I was thinking of a list of Top SC2 players and i notice its fairly short on Toss
1. LZgamer T ( has been a beast tourney wise)
2. CathonLuck T (first 2 time Koth show match winner beating both idra an artosis)
3. Idra Z (Might be BM but he's damn good)
4. Dimaga Z - EU i know
5. Lucifron T- EU i know
6. Azz P- Won TLI #2

These are the top 5 SC 2 players i can think off off the top of my head based on tourney results. granted i haven't seen them all or have had a chance to read about them all.
I mean the only strong Toss on the list is Azz and i doubt he's favored against any of the top 5 in a bo5
Who are some strong Toss players that i may be missing out on?
Nony?? have not seen him in any serious games so i don't know.

Smuft while he was playing was a monster Protoss.
Incontrol plays protoss.
On the EU side, Nazgul and White-Ra both play protoss. The latest Zotac cup was won by Goody, a protoss player.

And don't forget HuK and OHSHIFT.
PvT is incredibly hard though right now, that's setting us back.

White-Ra for protoss.. didn't really watch many replays of Nazgul yet tho, and you should add DeMusLiM in the T list, he's a damn solid T :O

Lucifron is probably the best player atm imo, he just rips thru everyone and makes it look so easy.. Granted, hes terran, so everything is easy, but he never even struggles in any of the replays Ive saw.. His micro and smarts is just so far ahead of everyone else.
I wish more protoss were doing good.. but don worry, patch soon and it'll be fine. Marauder nerf, cant wait!

Nony will pull ahead of alot of these people I think. His mechanics are amazingly tight. I'm trying to find out atm how the hell he chrono's buildings so quickly. I would guess by boosting their frame image in a hotkey set, but from watching his stream he does it so fast I can't even catch it.
Yes SC2 will be different in that the skill ceiling has been lowered, but as Garimto said, mechanics are going to be bigger part of the game with each passing day as builds become more homogenous.
If he choses to play competitively, I see Nony ahead of most tosses, if not all.

Watching his Stream right now. I admit he looks Solid just have not seen him actually compete in anything lately so hard to tell how he really measures up.

If memory serves, he didn't quite win every tournament he took part in. He's good, but I wouldn't even say he's best in Europe, let alone the other serves.

Smuft has test pre-rest record (win rate) and ELO score, hes a P. in fact many of the division leaders are P... so i guess you can start from there.
I still think this is way too early to say who is gonna be good as T, P or Z. Except maybe with the exception of Idra cause he is gonn have so much practice time

4 warp gate zealot/sentry/stalker bust is pretty fucking strong, aren't US toss players doing this PvT?
Can also be used to setup a safe expo if you want.
Note that by saying "pretty fucking strong" I don't mean imbalanced, just that it's good and hard to stop if you go for any kind of expansion build except maybe a 1 rax no gas cc with LOTS of bunkers.
