Also some songs I'm listening throughout summer: Errors - a rumour in africa. Breathtaking tune, i'd label it the indie anthem of the summer  + Show Spoiler + Caribou - Odessa. Hell yeah the base is so good. And the album indeed sounds like it was recorded underwater + Show Spoiler + Wild Nothing - Summer Holiday. Has an awesome '80s feel, but a bit different from The Smiths you can hear throughout the album. Also love the lyrics - not that they're creative, they just fit in well. + Show Spoiler + The Rapture - Don Gon Do it. NYC NYC NYC!!!!! this has an even more awesome, new york-ish feel (never been there, just heard the music) than Interpol + Show Spoiler + Memory Tapes - Bicycle. This also has a SUPERB 80s vibe, the string skipping, New Order-ish solo is simply great. + Show Spoiler + EDIT: also props to kane]deth[ she is great (all albums!), especially as background music when you're playing starcraft. | ||
