I don't think this will go too far, it was a misunderstanding and by now she has probably gotten a chance to talk with her daughter and figure out it wasn't anything serious. She'll cool down and the threats will stop. I doubt she will get a lawyer and actually go through with a lawsuit. Relax and wait it out for now. That's all you can actually do.  | ||

The only story she can possibly come up with is that she thought you were molesting her daughter outside the front door, in broad daylight, with tons of possible witnesses. I mean, her story is complete crap. Maybe the only thing to worry about is her mother/father telling their daughter to lie under oath, and go along with whatever story they make up. If she is as handicapped as you suggest, it will probably be pretty hard for her to remember some made up story and lie in court. All in all, I think you will be fine. BTW your parents seem fucked up for even remotely believing such a bullshit lie. How are they not on your side? They are your parents and should know you well enough to know its utter bullshit. If this happened to me and my mom didnt believe what I told her, I would refuse to speak to her for a LONG LONG time. | ||

As for getting sued, I would try as hard as possible to talk directly with Amber's parents and tell them exactly what happened. Call them on the phone, e-mail them, knock on the door, catch them when they walk outside to get the mail...whatever it takes. Also, is Amber capable of telling them that you didn't molest her? If she is, you gotta get that to happen somehow. If she's not, then it's up to you to repeatedly tell the truth and say exactly what happened. Do the same for your own parents as well - in cases like these there's nothing you can do except remain calm and repeat the truth as best as you can. Good luck dude. | ||

like i just want to put this out there, but asain parent standards are no that high, usually just above 85 or 90 as an average........which is not high when u want to go to med or something. Anyways back on topic, I can't even imagine what I would do in your situation. You really handled it maturly and didn't lash back at the parents, which is great.
