Jaedong is the captai I guess and he leads Hwaseung until the final.

Fantasy is the master of sniping people in single matches. That hasn't, nor will it, help him in a bo5.

self-loathing all over jaedong's face. i can't watch much more. i hope he can get past this moment.

prizes are money ? How much 1st and 2nd?

Right now it's like I just watched Boxer reincarnated, as a Boxer fan this is awesome
PS some of you need to read Playing to Win, this was a really smart move by SKT

Anyone who doesn't go and vote for JD in the OSL semis over Fantasy is a fool after seeing this. Having sniper builds doesn't work in a bo5.
Are you new or something? I'm no SKT1 fanboy or a Fantasy fanboy but talking about underestimating Fantasy... -___- JD is a monster in BOx series but Fantasy is nowhere close to an assured victory, he has shown his skill and aptness at this game many times before.

It's kind of a double standard; we can't do anything about it. But you have to remember that fans knew fantasy and boxer could play straight up if they wanted to, so their cheeses don't smack of desperation, but ingenuity. Lesser players cheese because they know they have little to no chance of winning straight up, but when top-tier players do it there's a different motivation.
We lost, get over it, we'll be back. No doubt about it.

People complain about the format being too individual favored, then complain when the players play to win. It's not a JD v Fantasy victory, its a victory for SKT1. Would you go for entertainment when your team has worked hard to put you in the ace match? No, and if you did you're a moron.

A well deserved win for SKT, and it's good that Fantasy finally won on the big stage after two silver medals.
Either Jaedong will start his descent into a depressing slump, or turn this around and go absolutely ripship insane and demolish everyone that stands in his path.

Oh, I understand why everyone is disappointed, but hating a player for doing what he needed to do to win for his team is a terrible reason to hate someone.

Poor Jaedong. Good thing for OZ are their future good players - Killer and Perfectman.

I hope it will be FanTaSy OSL's year!

I'd still say Fantasy. Did you see his performance on Day 1 against Jaedong? Absolutely brilliant play.

from fantasy's interview "before ace match, i avoided being around boxer on purpose and pretended to discuss a lot with oov for the opponent not to suspect (this strategic play)." it's amazing. :D

Fantasy did the exact same thing yesterday so JD should have been on the look out for it again. Who would expect someone to cheese on the most important match of an entire year's worth of Starcraft games? I am not surprised personally, but most players would not expect to be cheesed on something this important. It's definitely something only Boxer (or his student, in this case Fantasy) would do. The most important match in an entire year's worth of Starcraft games is exactly where you should expect cheese. Precisely. Especially when SK T1 had 2 chances and Oz only had 1, that was the best time to use a strategic play.

If "cheese" was so great, it'd be the norm, not FE like it is today. The strongest strategy becomes the predominant one, and others are there to counter the prevalent strategy.
