In tennis your first 4 sets are to 6 (of course 7 if tiebreak) and your 5th set is... STILL TO 6 (except majors I guess go further?), and in basketball game 7 is STILL 48 MINUTES. That is why Bo1 for the 3rd match is retarded. I guess the closest analogy I can think of is something like volleyball where first 4 games are to 25 and last is to 15, but even that I never fully agreed with. So yeah, if basketball's game 7 was a 5 minute (OT only game), that would be a proper analogy. And then a team with a Kobe or a Lebron would disproportionately win. | ||
