RorO is definitely not a scrub though, and maps are slightly favored ZvP for the Zerg. Whoever who comes out on top will have a very tough time with Flash though.

Shuttle going corsair reaver/DT, and putting down several gateways. But the harass is pretty ineffective. Currently 3 base toss vs 5 base zerg.

Roro drops at the 11 o clock expo and takes out an assimilator. Shuttle drops the expo at 3 o clcok with 4 zeals but they won't take out the hatchery.

One of the only times I've ever seen Flash react incorrectly to a recall. He had map control and could have shut down both Shuttle's mining bases but his units ran back then forth and Shuttle got enough time to break Flash's push.

GG, Incredible game by both players. The 12nex and cross map gave YJ the edge. Flash went for a han bang attack with no upgrades with pure rally to take control of YJs nat and it didnt work so well due to YJ macroing with 5 bases. Great full of action game. Definitely Reccomended.

I'm not sure if anyone that are are saying WTF Flash here actually ever played the map. It's probably the gayest map I've seen to get dropped or recalled on late game. Not only does it takes forever to go around the whole thing, the units keep getting stuck everywhere because the map is poorly designated.

The armories were missing on purpose, same for the 4th base. Flash decided to counter the 12 nex by getting fast 3 cc then going all-out on Shuttle's nat with mass vult + some tanks. His micro seemed fine as well.

After the suicide shuttle run on Flash's min only Flash unsieged and rolled Shuttle. Since Shuttle was teching and his economy hadn't kicked in Shuttle had next to nothing for a ground army. Meanwhile Flash's facs were timed perfectly and suddenly 7-8 facs of production were right in Shuttle's nat.

He needs to win a game like this right now for more than just the obvious reason. Too many of his wins are just easy, it's like he plays two different games - the really really easy ones, and the hard ones, and he mainly gets practice for just the easy ones.

Shuttle showed some seriously inspired play in rolling Roro and then clutch stealing game 1. He just lacked the refinement (needed to give himself at least SOME chance to win game 2) to finish the job.
I hate to say it, but I still fear deep down that a better Protoss (especially Bisu) very likely wins a series like this one against Flash....
I don't know what it is about Flash's push-to-kill games. It seems like he's playing them right and doing all the right things but he's been losing them in memorable fashion (Shuttle, Much in an important WL game, Best in OSL do-or-die). Maybe it's just "bad luck" by his standards.

I do think games 2 and 3 felt closer than they actually were because of game 1.
Game 2 was pretty rough at first but it seems like Flash clearly planned to essentially burn two Tanks (seeing as how he did again in game 3) for scouting and the possibility of doing a Probe splash massacre. 12 Nexus against Flash by a mid-level Protoss really doesn't mean that much, and ironically enough Shuttle's Shuttle play achieved virtually nothing and it was actually pretty clear at that point that Flash was in the clear. What Shuttle needed to do was do some significant damage to either Flash's natural or back min-only, which he failed to do because he sought to do a Bulldog but Flash moved out perfectly and got a wall of buildings up.
Game 3 was just standard fare. If it weren't for the previous 2 games, we all would have watched game 3 and thought "that's the usual" ... Protoss gets 5 or 6 bases all the time against Flash and this is the usual outcome each time.

Game 2 was pretty rough at first but it seems like Flash clearly planned to essentially burn two Tanks (seeing as how he did again in game 3) for scouting and the possibility of doing a Probe splash massacre. 12 Nexus against Flash by a mid-level Protoss really doesn't mean that much, and ironically enough Shuttle's Shuttle play achieved virtually nothing and it was actually pretty clear at that point that Flash was in the clear. What Shuttle needed to do was do some significant damage to either Flash's natural or back min-only, which he failed to do because he sought to do a Bulldog but Flash moved out perfectly and got a wall of buildings up. Game 3 was just standard fare. If it weren't for the previous 2 games, we all would have watched game 3 and thought "that's the usual" ... Protoss gets 5 or 6 bases all the time against Flash and this is the usual outcome each time.
It's funny, I don't remember anything from games 2-3 lol, right after.
just that he pushed with the standard 2-1 ratio vult/tank combo and won game 2 easily, turtled and bmed a little game 3. must''ve been forgettable

He saw a 14nexus, and had to change his build to counter it. As you said, he tried to hit a timing window, but unfortunately, couldn't make use of it. You can't say that it was a weird gameplan.. it just didn't work out for him this game.
