1) It was 1-2am when they were casting these games. You could tell DLee was a bit short given the quality of games/player/what he was expecting. He was probably a bit grumpy as can be expected. 2) The converation regarding Idra's lack of "manner" quickly jumped from idra being blunt to not representing progamers well. Tasteless: "idra doing a little trash talk here" DL: "Yeah they shouldn't talk in games, that's why we are here" Tasteless "Yeah idra is known for being pretty bad manner in the community" DL: "Wow i've heard that but ive never seen that before" Tastless: "Well i dont agree with it etc etc." DL: "Progamers should not act like that etc etc" I dont think what idra was saying was particularly bad. Did he swear? Yes. Are GOM broadcasts with Tasteless and DL known to be particularly lax? yes. Infact in the very same game i heard them both swear but i dont think thats important. DL said "if you are going to be bm you should do it to the max" and then whipped out his tiade about idra not winning courage etc etc. Im sure if it was 4pm and he was casting the first game he may have had some restraint. DL probably was a bit pissed off at the time - but is it really a big deal? I don't think so. Infact i'd be surprised if this isn't cleared up in a few days....really nothing to see here lol - just a bad series of events that led to some progaming drama. ESPORTS! | ||

Maybe to some of us Idra's BM record became something usual and some don't even care about it. But Daniel Lee is a former coach and a korean and he's way more strict that most of the non-koreans regarding manners in-game. He gave Idra the chance to play in a proteam and now that Idra hasn't rissen to his expectations he's annoyed. You can't really go that far and say SDM bashed Idra with no particular reason, considering Idra does have a record of being BM. | ||

in the western world it's pretty accepted and encouraged to talk shit and think you're better and have confidence and be able to make mistakes, and when these two things come together they don't mix well, since in the eyes of asian cultures, the people that are eons better than idra don't say anything yet idra keeps mouthing off as if he's savior from 2006, while actually he sucks donkey balls. people here see his bm as something entertaining but in the eyes of many asian people it's just downright rude and complete lack of shame. daniel lee obviously pulled a lot of strings and called in a few favors i imagine to get him the progamer license and get CJ to take him then idra not only sucks shit but also bm all over the place, making daniel lee look like a retard that kept helping and supporting a douche. seriously why can't sc gamers just act professionally when they need to? is it really that much to ask for you, idra, representing the entire foreigner scene, in korea, if you dont have the skills then at least show you're not some spoiled dickhead wasting everyone's time. shit if i had the chance to represent china and i sucked as hard as you i would shut the fuck up and be happy i'm even there and try to show that what i represent is not some redneck, backwards, idiotic bm noob group. this just further confirms that all foreigners are noobs at sc and bm as well. thanks a lot. | ||

I guess the poorly played(compared to korean standards) games afterwards didn't really help SDM get back into the mood. I have to say though, Idra played really well in his game. Other than that lets see how the drama unfolds, somehow i'm getting a really bad feelings about whats gonna happen... | ||
