In interviews with other athletes in competitive sports, a lot of them are always dissing on their opponents and cursing. This sort of ties in to my whole opinion on "trash talk." In sports, trash talk is something that generally happens before/during a game within the spirit of competition. It generally adds to the hype and intensity between competitors and amongst fans. Conversely, when a game is over (and one side is victorious) there is a degree of respect that is required on "the field" (think of both players typing 'gg' or players shaking hands at the end of a little league game etc.) There is a certain level of formality and humility expected when things are all said and done. With this in mind, not everything IdrA says or does can be considered purely "trash talk" because he often blatantly disrepects players after he has either beaten them or they have beaten him. Neglecting to gg or offensively gging sort of goes against the whole spirit of "athletic competition" because when a game ends there is a legitimate expectation of players being respectful and living up to the aforementioned formalities. Case in point, this is why Stork will always be a faggot (in my mind) for dancing around iloveoov's booth after their game, while iloveoov will not despite "talking trash" before the competition.

Are you guys all home schooled kids who have never played a game online or seen an interview with someone who is actually honest? Take off your parenting caps and expecting Idra to be "jackie Robinson" cmon that is a huge joke. If you want someone to act how you want, then go ahead and start practicing on Iccup. Otherwise shut up with trying to tell someone how you want them to act. The comment Idra made wasn't even Bad Mannered, SDM was the one who was bad mannered and should apologize to everyone involved, Idra, tasteless, and all the games after Idra's that where soured by him pouting. "Play Better" was more insulting than anything Idra has said not to mention his lack of professionalism and personal insults towards idra.

No. You can train with people on the team, but you can't compete in leagues.

Ya but I knew that already. And it doesn't change the fact that he didn't have/get a pro-license.

Isn't that either shows that he's (A)extremely stupid or (B)doesn't really give a damn? Does he really believe a tournament used to spread SC with MONEY on the line and sponsors would simply release replays?

There were not rules in this event about not chatting in-game, so no there's no excuse for what he said. And there was no "bad manner" in the chat. Tarson asked about a build order, IdrA responded sarcastically -- Tarson understood the sarcasm, given his reply -- and they went on to finish the match. It'd be hard to find a more normal example of two good players having a Q&A in a competitive match. (I just watched the replay twice to make sure I didn't miss some huge cuss fight. Sorry guys, there's nothing there. I was all excited, too.)
