I think that FBH's gonna take this just because of the sheer amount of practice he's done TvP in the last 1-2 months. Practice is way more important than it sounds at this level, and it shows if you compare the amount of practice vs results for S-class gamers.

I think the maps are ok for Bisu. The only one I see being rather difficult is byzantium. I don't have a real preference either since Nada will win anyway, but if I had to choose, I would rather Bisu win. Realistically, I think FBH will win 3-2 dropping games at set 3 and 4.

I very much dislike bisu to the point of hoping he breaks his leg walking up to the stand but this also seems like firebathero's only chance, I have seen firebathero disgrace the match up called tvp on so many occasions in horrible horrible ways i cant liquibet for him v any protoss in good conscious no matter what recent results hes had.

I made them, I just like photoshopping and I might aswell do it for something usefull (not that the ones made by the TL staff is bad or anything quite the contrary, I got alot of inspiration from them).
Also yeah, FBH has been doing really good lately and I can totally see him beating bisu. Could be a hard fight with Bisu also seeming to be on the uprise though.

I have no clue who's going to win. Bisu definitely should be the favorite though.
But I am rooting for FBH. I just hope can learn to freaking use his dropships. I think his ability to harass will be key. He incorporated dropship play heavily this MSL. But his drops have been largely ineffective. He'll need to pick it up to win against Bisu.

To OP: Would you mind justifying your predictions? Games 3 and 4 I can understand, but could you say why you think FBH his going to drop his only game on a Terran>Protoss map, and why Bisu is going to lose on a map like Medusa, which favors Protoss.
In terms of players, I want Bisu to win. In terms of not having an all protoss semifinal, I want FBH to win.

It's probably best not to remind everyone that this is the worst MU for both players. We could see some epic errors on both players turning into some long drawn out matches. I don't think we'll be seeing clean plays by either player.
Then again, mistakes actually leads to entertaining games.

FBH improved his TvP, no question about that. Not that it was difficult seeing how terrible he was at that.
He did beat Bisu. Once. In a group stage when Bisu was preparing for Much. Beating him in a Bo5 is another matter. No more surprise effect. Better preparation. Mind games...
I really don't see Bisu losing this. He is back to his former self : a cold blood killer with surgical micro (OK, that was lame...) and scary macro. FBH, your lucky streak is over.

Btw bunkers are very annoying to take out on this map, even with ranged goons (personal experience). I wonder how Beesuit handles that, he has to do something or FBH's economy gets out of hand now as he's expanding, unlike our ninja-toss.

Bisu's economy was quite thin and FBH tried to exploit that with a 'fast' push, but his positioning kinda blew it, losing those 3 tanks severely weakened his army imo. Now that Bisu has him cornered his macro can kick in, he's 1 base ahead afterall - but he couldn't reaver harass.

Maybe 1/9 times If you get some lucky mines in there. Arbiters are silly little units. There's also that other little thing that arbiters have which freezes half your army but I guess all it takes is a maphack to know which one they picked.

FBH had more scvs after the failed proxy, but Bisu caught up with double expand. FBH's weak attempt to damage it with the 3 tank push cost him any advantage he might have had up to that point.

His pushes/splits were off annnd he didn't take advantage of Bisu's failed cheese.
The big blunder? Yeah, he was on 2 bases. Standard 2 bases won't cut it. He should have whore-mongered the map so he could have dealt with his loses and re-build his army quicker.

The bottom line is mining vs arbiter is not effective at all. It takes time, doesn't kill the arbiter and is nearly impossible to do so well that the recall will be stopped. Maybe it will soften up 5 zealots or something, rarely does it stop anything.

People you need to stop complaining about potential PPPP semis.
Some years ago, the same thing happened, we had a PPPP semis with Zeus, Nal_rA, Kingdom and Reach. And all the games were amazing, especially the Reach vs Nal_rA with the DA vs Carriers.
Kal vs Jangbi. Ok, not the most glamourous match, but a super straight direct style vs a weird unorthodox free style can deliver some nice games.
If Nada beats Free, well, there you have it, no more PPPP semis. Now, if Nada manages to beat Bisu, well, this place will go up in flames. In case Free wins, Free is a combat maniac, and his games are always fun to watch. He is some sort of protoss version of Iris but with much better battle skills.
Now, I personally hope Nada wins, not because of PPPP semis but because it would be awesome that he could have one last shot at the 4th MSL.

Wow, I actually thought FBH had a good chance against Bisu, got proven wrong there. Man, I have lost all faith in FBH now. Why did you even have faith in the first place?

I hope FBH watches these games and realizes he is way better then this and will take this as a lesson so he can become better at TvP he has shown great improvements but Bisu is a Beast. Either way i had fun watching all of his ceremonies especially vs Tempest game 2, and i hope he continues to fill his role in the Brood War scene which is too keep things Fun. At least people are starting to understand that FBH isnt a douche but a good guy just trying to have fun.

Seriously, FBH's TvP hasn't been that good. He's played a couple of decent games and then two-fact pushed everything else. I'm still pretty sure that in any long macro game he'll get raped by even mediocre protosses.

Great, now nada is my last hope of an awesome finals. He should definately be able to pull off where FBH failed so I'm not that worried. You just never really know with Nada. I've seen him play games where he lost to a goon rush and games where he played like a god.
Anyway a pvp finals would just make me lose interest in it instantly.
Makes me think, it has been so rediculously long since there was a ZvZ finals.

When i was watching the games, it was almost like Bisu was in a differn't league. FBH never stood a chance, at any point- in any of the three games. Bisu rocked him.

The old FBH showed up, no harass, poor terran push.
Bisu's determination and mastery of mechanics has been very visible for the past 2 months, too bad there isn't an equivalent of a golden mouse award for the MSL.

Seriously I wasn't shocked at all with Bisu 3:0ing FBH. Yes FBH was on a winning streak vs P, but look at his wins. Most of them were over P playing standard. You just don't turn out into a TvP expert in one week (not even a month, unless you're NaDa ). It requires lots of analysis, experience, and practice to become a TvP machine. Bisu knew this very well. He knew that FBH practiced on improving his game vs standard P and found out an effective way to deal with standard play styles and build orders by P. From the look on Bisu's face before set 1, you can see that he was confident at dismatling FBH and winning. He knew he needed to play with an aggressive style and utilize his superior game mechanics to make FBH nervous and make him think of defense, while he macros and techs up.
I think the defining moment of this set, is when Bisu used those 3 dragoons in game 1 vs FBH's 6(?) marines and tank. That did tremendous psychological damage to FBH. It pretty much defined the mental state of each player and how things are gonna turn out for the rest of the evening.

Just watched 3rd game and was shocked how bad FBHs economy was. His SCV count during mid and endgame was extremely low even though there were now Reaver/temp drops (or I didn't see them). Ok, there was a reaver drop but with almost no damage.
He needs to improve his macro...

Nah, imho the better player, in a matchup where he's just way better than fbh, simply outplayed his opponent. Many people seem to think that Bisu is just PvZ but he has proven quite often that, in form, both is PvP and PvT favor him over anyone but the very best.
I'm no Bisu fan but credit where credit is due.
