Awesome. I'll watch some of these.
edit: Glancing at the first two VODs, I have a hard time hearing you and Daniel over the Korean commentators. Even if there were no sound at all (other than you and Daniel) it would be better than it is right now. Hope you figure out the technical stuff

OMG it still does not stream on pause. Please allow to buffer whole vod it can't be that hard to change in code right? It is impossible to watch on 512kb. now whithout buffering every like 30 sec.

Noticed the same thing. If I'm going to watch a commentary that is over a Korean VOD, I like it when there's still some volume from the original VOD, so that you can hear the unit attack sounds and stuff, but not so much that the Korean commentary makes it difficult to follow your commentary.

Yes please lower the background volume. It's as loud or louder than your voice.

Artosis, all the 'Ace' match links go to 'Team Ace' in tlpd because its 'tlpdized'. Its better to put Game 5 or something similar.

Please make it so that if can buffer when paused. Your streams are some of the worst there are, I'm sure there's some good free programs that allow you to make better vods that you can actually wait to load instead of having if buffer every 5 seconds. The commentating is really good though.

It's still out of sync and Daniel still screams too loudly in his mic so the sounds breaks up every now and then. Also, consider the volume you both have vs the original commentators.

Hey Artosis this is really cool! I have trouble finding good english commentary for the Proleague (not to say I dont enjoy Korean commentary) and this will be really sweet to watch. You should commentate the eSTRO vs SKT match if its interesting enough to you, it was a huge upset. I didnt catch all the games but from what I saw it was decent.

Yes, if you could make it buffer instead of true streaming, then it would help a lot of people who are on slower connections.

It works somehow better now I can stream like 4 minutes or so at once. So you will make any more becouse I don't know if I should watch vods or wait for your commentary.

There's no way you can possibly take out the Korean commentators from VODs. It's all mixed down to one audio channel and there's no program that's highly distributed and completely effective that splits the mixdown.

I was so pumped for these but it's still really hard to hear you guys over the background noise with the speakers I'm using- I think you should just get rid of it entirely (or make it quiet enough so you can only hear the koreans when they start yelling about something, which is fun to listen to anyway ).

UPDATE: A few new matches up. still some bugs getting worked out. some of these vods + all future ones will have lower korean commentator sounds. please keep leaving feedback on sound levels etc. really helps me to tune it in correctly.
see first page for the new matches put up.

Awesome stuff, especially with the lower background volume.
Unfortunately many of the vods don't seem to work for me, at least the following: KTF vs ACE game 1, Woongjin vs. STX game 2, OGN vs. STX last game. No problems with some of the others.

Oh yeah, Artosis. For criticism, use the correct terms. Some people get annoyed by "Red Archon" and "Irridate", it would be much better if you used the correct words. Not much else to criticize, it's excellent all around.

My audio is desynched in G5 OGN vs. CJ. When you were talking about the zerglings vs. marines with Leta's micro or the overlord kill it was >10s before the video caught up to the audio. That continued throughout the game even after reloading the video.

umm some of these games are really out of sync that last match seemed so.. bit of an annoyance honeslty

I always seem to have a problem with the last minute or so with the VODs...it plays smoothly throughout the game until right after the "gg" and it starts to lag, have you guys got the new server yet?
I've also noticed that the audio isn't quite in sync with the video
but other than that keep it up! The commentaries are awesome =P

It seems you've labeled the game incorrectly on scforall. For example; when I click Boxer vs Magma in your post I get taken to a page that says 'fOru VS teSteR..[gm]' but the actual video is the Boxer game.

Right click on the screen. Choose properties(or something equivalent... since I can't be sure due to using Chinese windows). Click the folder tag. Set it to unlimited amount of space allowed for download.
Then start the stream. Pause and let it buffer for a while so it doesn't keep getting screwed.

As you probably have noticed , I've loved your work at sc2gg for the begining and your casting before that, I was just posting here to give you some feedback since I'm work working this hard (and much!) you would like some ....
You are doing a great fucking job me and my buddies sync up on msn and watch the proleague matches together and more or less agree you are the best castor around. Solo dan is actually better then paired up dan imo.

Man, these are awesome, I actually get a better idea whats going on in the games now. I sorta have a problem of tuning out when watching regular korean commentated matches. So this is great.
The Ace versus Estro Matches were epic! It was like perfectly played games.

Like, Daezangs manner pylon sealed the game.
Oversky made the other guy waste a cannon, perfectly executed 2 hatch play, especially for that map.
And Boxer is always awesome. He didn't even get touched for the first ten minutes because of the valks! Very important especially against magma. Great strategy.
And I sorta feel for the Estro team on their games, because you live in the Estro house. Its like your home team. Like football, you always want them to win! So I sorta have sympathy for them, they aren't bad players, they are just really young and inexperienced.

Artosis, you rock man. I've watched every game you've posted that has a Terran in it. Your commentary is very insightful and I love your dry humor. In my opinion, you blow all other commentators out of the water! I look forward to more. Please keep 'em coming. You are a pleasure to listen to.

Great commentaries i enjoyed them quite a bit. you two are a great team, very informative and funny.
Some feedback:
The commentor that was a coach; his mic crackles when he gets loud. The other does a little bit but not nearly as bad as his. He needs a new mic or mess with his settings somehow. Does his mic have one of those foam pads over the mic?
Also the comments from people on that website often spoil the game. not sure if there's anything you can do about that.
Also the flash vs boxer october26 does not work for me.

For me the Best v Piano match had some sort of delay between what you guys were saying and when it would actually happen in the game. Not sure if that's just a problem for me or if it was for everyone. Either way it was a good game and I'm surprised how well piano did.

Yeah, the syncing was a little messed up. But thats okay.
Also, this may just be a small problem, but I often look at the listings of the games to watch. Like for the english commentaries, and the results are sorta spoiled already for me. I mean i could just look through the games through each numbered page. But bleh, I want to just watch english commentaries.

Jangbi is a great PvZ player (much better than his PvP e.g), but nevertheless Effort beat him.
And, Daniel Lee was sooo right about July. I mean good looks are so important nowadays that it really is a shame.

As we discussed in PM - this does not work for me. I have Adobe Flash Player 10 and can slide the arrow over to Unlimited. However, it reports that SC4ALL is using 0KB and doesn't buffer correctly.
You also mentioned you don't see a box in that same window that says "Never Ask Me Again" (remember my settings, basically). Whenever I check that box, the slider moves ALL the way to the left.
There needs to be a better workaround or solution.

I think for the by.great vs sKyHigh @ New Harmony game the audio is a few seconds ahead of the video.

I watch proleague whenever I have spare time, this is really great stuff, I never been able to do it before because I was either lazy to download torrents or whatever, but scforall is awesome. Again, thank you Artosis and Daniel Lee, and others.
