Game 2 was a build order loss: Stork's 4-gate goon strategy was really strong and took advantage of Best's predictable tech order. But rather than get mad, Best looked miserable after this game. Even during the games, every time Stork landed *another* crazy reaver scarab, Best looked like he wanted to curl up in a corner and cry. By the time Stork did the 2-gate build inside Best's main in game 4, I thought Best was absolutely cooked. It seemed like Best's mechanics broke down, and he picked a very poor time to engage Stork in the middle of Plasma. Well, I haven't thrown Best under the bus... yet. But, from my vantage point, Stork came through in the clutch and Best choked. | ||

We'll, I'll keep things PG. Good job Stork. It breaks my Best fan heart to say that though. This was a great chance for Best to take the OSL. Well, next time then. Next time. Ugh...this really is painful though. I've done pretty well on my betting lately but I didn't care about those. I wanted Best to win. Arghhhh... But they all proved to be inconsistent in the long run while Stork is stronger than ever. He basically has this unless he actually chokes for the first time. Or unless Fantasy suddenly surprises big time. | ||
