It starts with an "S" and ends with a "tork". Stork 3-1 EZ! Except last time they played Best won. Good job there with the facts, only thing factual was that stork won the only series they played 2-1, and best beat him last time, so that makes them what 2-2. Man you sure know how to spin things, you should consider working for a cable news giant.

It starts with an "S" and ends with a "tork". Stork 3-1 EZ! Yes, and the last game of that series was more or less due to the horrible balance of Fantasy. Stork lucked out with the top-right corner, while best got the horrible top-left. Even then best played better than stork, and this time it'll show for sure. Best will completely and utterly destroy stork.

Creative? Like carriers three times in a row in the GSI? Like trying to do that again in the OSL? Stork is one of the least creative Protoss ever in my opinion, which doesnt make him a bad player. There are two types of Protoss which leads to two different schools of thought. When you choose a race you can play their more aggressive style or their attrition oriented style. With Protoss its the same as the other two, you have to either play aggressively to pressure your opponent down or play on the defensive till your ez mode macro comes in. First is the Dreamer Protoss (Nal_Ra, Garimto, Best (to a degree), Reach and so on) which includes alot of the old school gamers out there, since dreaming was easier when the whole game wasnt mapped. Nal_Ra is clearly the best example of this type of Protoss, using the spell and unit combinations that he did was revolutionary and it still is. Nal_Ra was using strategies that were ahead of their time completely (sair/reaver, sair/dt harass), not to mention of the old Protoss kings he was the only one to make it past 2006 and Savior. Using the many facets of Protoss used to be very effective, but with the recent wave of skilled players it has become less prevalent and much less practical. The second is the Machine Protoss (Stork, Backho, Best, Reach, Jangbi and so on) who uses the massive armys of Protoss to walk over their opponent. Stork has long been known as this kind of player and he may very well be the best example of it. A stern and quite style marks this type of player, they usually would prefer to know everything before committing to a certain action and their mechanics are flawless. Stork has very good mechanics and by god he knows what to when hes in a game, but he doesnt have any creativity. He will probably use some variation of Reavers in every game tonight which is the best way to stop Best as his mechanics should help him to be prepared for any type of cheez or timing rush. Overall the two of them are very good players but unless Stork brings about some crazy build or demoralizes him with cheese hes not going to win this On October 24 2008 11:32 mog87 wrote: And what time do the games happen I swear every site has all these writeups and they dont even list the start time. . I assume that the osl will start their games around the same time as gomtv's. I could be wrong though Look in the top right dude, where there is a calendar. Below it there is a thing that says upcoming events which lists the time the OSL will begin in KST. Look at the very top right and that is KST time, figure out the difference and transfer it to your particular time zone.

If there's any Protoss in the world who can break BeSt's streak, it's Stork. Unfortunately, I don't think it'll be enough. It'll take a Protoss on an entirely different level to take a BoX from BeSt's PvP. (And by that I mean either being better mechanically, or playing better mind games, or coming up with a totally brand new strategy.)
