I don't care about the difference in skill between you and Carlo, but I can assure you that he is not immortal and is able to lose to A level koreans just like any other top foreigner. 4. I know he can lose to A level koreans, I just don't think he should have run into 49 A level koreans before B rank ICC. That'd take sick game selection. | ||

If they're breaking even over that many games then they've reached their limit. Going 34-34 is enough to gain you a rank on motw at B so by that many games they're losing more than they're winning. The bad record at B means they are a B rank player. Nothing to be ashamed of obv. Whereas if they're B with 70-30 then they're obviously still winning more than they're losing and therefore B probably isn't their limit. They are B atm but if they kept playing until their stats were like 250-300 they'd be nearer A-. Obviously we're talking small sample sizes and unless everyone kept playing until they couldn't gain any more points then there will always be a margin of error but the record does count for something. It's inaccurate because of dodging, racepicking and different hours but not meaningless. The B 250-300 is not potentially a B+ player. The B 70-30 might be. | ||

your whole arguement as i said before is absuluty ridiculous, judging him becuase of his stats is outrageous, there is a reason why ladder a-b is ALWAYS empty cuz only koreans have reached that rank, and maybe a few dozen forigners if that | ||

But seriously, the stats thing can be put to rest. In Spirit a lot of players had insane records but checking their opponents revealed that they were playing consistently vs people who had <50% win rates. And I've seen people with <50% win rates beat the guys who have 95% win rates. Stats just do not reflect skill on ICCup, period, and they never will. They can be completely, totally misleading. | ||

And the comment about Idra losing to Nony, there's not many top korean amateurs that could hold their own against nony. His play is immaculate. Idra lost to Dinot and White-Ra months ago, you're a complete fool if you think that Idra isn't a top foreigner. Of course he'll drop games against some players but you also fail to realize he had immense pressure to perform at WCG by his coaches/team mates. You obviously don't understand how much that can affect a person. btw white-ra is very inconsistant, he always pulls in decent results but there are times when he plays amazingly and other times he plays terribly. | ||

Foreigner's play very differently from Koreans. Idra has immense pressure on him for this WCG. Did you watch the TvZ Idra won in GOM? That's a huge improvement. | ||
