The Clan Art Seed Creation Tournament is made to set some firing competition between clan art members. The tournament's format is set out to create a seeding system for the Clan Art tournaments to function. This system will enable members to gain points as the do better results in each tournament held monthly. As this is the first tournament, the top 4 performers will officially be the seeds of the next tournament. This means that those seeds will automatically get into the round of 16 of the next tournament. There will be official ranking published every month that take into account the points gained from those tournaments. The point system will remain solid for every tournament held monthly and it is as follows:
Winner: 100 points
Runner-up: 80 points
Semi-finalists: 50 points
Quarter finalists: 30 points
Round of 16: 10 points
Round of 32: 5 points
As for now, I am new at this and Clan Art is also new. So, in order to start things up I have decided to skip the round of 32 and just have 16 participants. Participation in this tournament will depend on how soon you register for it. Registration is done by posting the following:

Once I get 32 participants in the tournament then registration will close and I will create the brackets. The tournament will be elimination in a BO3 matchup. EDIT: due to the huge number of participants I have decided to bump this up to the round of 32. Round of 32ers will get 5 points. Another Edit that I have made is replacing both Katrina and blue storm since there were some complains and I myself find them very Imbalanced. I replaced Blue storm with RoV and Katrina with Rush Hour 3. I hope those decisions are good ones.As for the schedules and timings, they will be made soon. Remember that the tournament is in the whole month so I think we wont have problems with the timings.

well yeah peaks is a bit overplayed. To be honest I love monty hall, it's a really uncommon map that creates a lot of different games than the standard python/luna/lt...
then it could be peaks or blue storm. A 2 player map that has those paths that mess up with units AI.

UPDATE: Deadline changed to 22nd of February. This is due to me wanting people to qualify and play all games in round of 32. The other reason is that i am traveling to cyprus and coming back on the 22nd. So people if you need any help or want to ask any question please PM Cascade until the 22nd. Once I am back I need to finish the tournament as soon as possible and that will be taken care of once I am back.

The 4 seeds are actually automatically in the round of 16. I think this time we may go with some other type of tournament. I may consider making group stages to make it more fair and thus more people can participate.
