You must admit this is pretty funny. When Zerg wins it's evidence ZvP is Zerg favored. When Protoss wins? It's also evidence ZvP is Zerg favored. Nah. That's just a disingenuous way to put it.
"When Zerg wins it's evidence ZvP is Zerg favored" = we are referring to the global ZvP win rate which has always been in favor of Zerg.
"When Protoss wins? It's also evidence ZvP is Zerg favored" = we are talking about some isolated incidents today (I'm talking about the BTS games) when the Protoss, who is 1 tier above the Zerg, could have lost because of the matchup design, and should have lost if the Zerg was at same tier skillwise, but still won because the Zerg made some baffling moves when he was leading.

Literally nobody is saying a single game is proof of imbalance.

Let me just say that I hate how a BTS plays. I can and do respect plenty of cheeses and cheesy players, but when you just throw it out literally every game, in every match up, you're just producing shitty games 90%+ of the time. Whether you win or lose, I hate it all the same and I will always root against that type of player. With that said, the last game was really entertaining lol.
I am also happy for BeSt to make it out but I feel heartbreak for poor Queen with how he lost. There's always next year Champ.
There's actually a fantastic shot for someone to win ASL that's never done it before this year. Also, there's a real good shot for a Protoss to actually win. I'm digging this season so far.

he made it work in ASL unlike a lot of cheese-zergs. had a very favorable game state on the last map before best started the hidden base.
i thought he made the group a lot more fun because best started to fatigue vs queen like a tired boxer in the later rounds

I love True. I hope we see more of him in the future which surprisingly I think we will. The old guard should be feeling the despair. Good for them. Git gud.

i absolutely root for TRUE from now on

i was let down by BTS, because this was in fact some of the least coordinated play I have seen from him. The nerves really got to him. He was visibly shaking after each game. If he had managed to remain cold and focused he would have won.

BTS is just another version of Shine. In fact, Shine should mentor him on his bag of builds.

I'm left with a slight feeling of a letdown, but the Koprulu Sector is filled with silent echos in space with no one to hear you.

Let's not forget FlaSh used to be called Cheddar terran in his beginnings because all he did was cheese. His time might come.

That is very true. I actually hated FlaSh when I first saw him. I remember him cheesing Bisu every game right out of a Starleague. I hated it. BTS' time might come. I don't ever expect him to ever be FlaSh but if he develops non-cheese / gimmick builds to incorporate into his game, I'd be impressed. Not that him or anyone else should or does care what I think.

I hate Flash to this day, however that is okay. It is like harmonica keys, sometimes you play all the notes in a key and it becomes repetitive. It takes a challenge to overstep the boundaries. Not every player has to play like Soulkey switching tech like harp keys in the middle of his play. You can only play macro if you go too far in the tech tree and lose your chance by not appyling enough early game aggression. You need the limits set upon the economics of your game in order to win. If it were simple, we wouldn't call it cheese. It is cheese because not everyone can do it.

The prolonged lair tech style is actually very cool. It's refreshing that not everyone wants to steer the game into crackling/defiler. IMO it's great the game doesn't tell you how to play. We need more of this in Terran players, a la Fantasy. Even TY.

He is a great zerg. I cannot think of any other who absolutely understood playing the early game, like playing protoss like Mini does. PS: one can liken his weakness last season vs Barracks similarly to Jaedong vs Light when both of them should move to 3', but moved to 6' o'clock. Looking how Jaedong has improved this year, we can take it as a herald for what is to come to True next year.

Possible draw for RO8
Barracks vs Best Bisu vs effOrt
Those two series would awesome.
