pangshai Chinatown5333 Posts December 06 2007 13:01 GMT #123 the armies engage again, and both lose everything. now both have armies roaming around again. and they're huge armies. main and nat for both players out. backho has taken the 6 base. and violet is trying to take 12. armies engage again. storm everywhere. backho chases violet away with his army, and then moves up to 12. violet moves down to 6 and tries to take down the nexus there. and he kills it, losing the remnants of his army (a few zealots) in the process. backho has a huge zeal/archon/temp/goon army and he's retaking 6. violet has just 1.5 group of zealots and a couple of templar. this looks over.

pangshai Chinatown5333 Posts December 06 2007 13:03 GMT #124 violet storms the shit out of all of backho's probes at 6 with a storm drop. backho goes for violet's top left expo and he'll take it down easy. 6 archons in backho's army, and violetl ooks low on gas as his army is mainly zealot. its not looking good for violet. his army is smaller and the army composition is weak. they confront again. lots of storm, but backho outnumbers violet easy, and archons > zealots. backho wins that battle convincingly and violet ggs.

semioldguy United States7488 Posts December 06 2007 13:07 GMT #127 I think Violet trying to get cute with DT's was a big mistake as they were clearly to no tactical advantage and they were using up a lot of gas that could have been better spent elsewhere. He was winning the battles until he started to throw dark templars into the mix without first getting rid of hardly any of BackHo's observers.

pangshai Chinatown5333 Posts December 06 2007 13:13 GMT #130 game started on python. july at 12 backho at 8 and i'm going to go with backho this game. july kinda got "lucky" on the zodiac game where he managed to drop backho's island expo with his drop cause backho's corsairs were out of position. but you can say that was backho's fault for having his corsairs poorly positioned to defend from drop.

pangshai Chinatown5333 Posts December 06 2007 13:20 GMT #136 about a group of hydras moving in to attack backho now. backho pulls probes to defend. 2 cannons warp in in time for 5, and backho will be fine. he'll lose his forge though. reaver will be out from his robotics soon and he has 6 cannons at his nat.

pangshai Chinatown5333 Posts December 06 2007 13:21 GMT #139 july hits with his hydras just before 2 of the 6 cannons warp in. takes out the cannons. nice timing by july there. just 5 seconds late and he'll be fighting 2 additional cannons and a reaver. backho doesn't even try microing his reaver against the hydras. just ggs with a reaver vs 5 hydras and more coming from july's 4 hatches.
