If there was ever a 'changing of the guard' type day... o_O

I should have more faith in being a Barracks fanboy, once this dude stopped doing silly all-in builds he's actually been killing it! Definitely deserves everything that happened today.
Bisu got absolutely stomped by Barracks, but the PvZs weren't what I thought they were either. Hero is just too good lol.

And he's older than Flash, Last, Mong, Sharp, JYJ, Speed, Royal etc. In fact the only notable Terrans who are older than him are Light, Sea (1y) and sSak (2y).

The OP always has a spoiler for the final results, but seems to never get filled in?

Man i remember the good old days that i was at school and couldnt check streams cuz internet was shit but it was good enough to check the results in the first page. Now you are forced to go to liquipedia if you wanna see the scores.

Would you say the same thing about a Bisu in his prime?
Some personal thoughts: I think SKT broke Bisu's killer mindset that he had at MBCGame. His abilities in individual tournaments got torched when he joined that team. I think he'd be the closest to bonjwa status as Protoss if he never switched teams.

I dont agree with SKT being the issue.More like he won 3 MSL and his individual hunger was already filled. Bisu was paid a really high salary thanks to team performance and he was doing really well there. Post Kespa career Bisu Won THE SSL vs hero and made it to the final one more time losing it to hero and then loss a final to Effort. I think his desire to win another tournament was also filled. But he understand his fans want to see him competing in ASL so he continues doing so. And im pretty sure his biggest motivation to do well right now is in the daily proleagues where the earnings are insane compared to the ASL. That said this season Bisu was in a really good shape. He even beat Soulkey offline. It is a shame he didnt advance from this group :/ Im not sure Prime Bisu would be dominating terrans in this era (Specially cuz of modern maps that just allow terrans for safe 4 bases setup and easy wall mechanics.) but his pvp for sure could benefit a lot and his pvz will still be incredible as it is right now lets be honest. I also think back then Bisu was playing so much offline. MSL OSL Proleague etc. Almost every week Bisu was playing offline so it was for him being in comfort zone all the time. Now he just plays offline from time to time.

This group is proof I need to go with my gut on BW bets more often

Has bisu never played that last map before? Why did he never park one ctrl group of units on that high ground square before his fourth? How did he not know lurkers were between his army and his third? Come on.

Idk, this happens to Bisu all the time against Hero.
I'm pretty sure Hero was using the crowd to suss out Bisu's build order. They need to do something to the way the booths are set up to prevent that in the future.

Agree, maybe booths will finally make their return if SPL lifts off. It's crazy how they haven't yet. Budget really must be tight.

That is not something used on esports anymore. And even back then on SPL progamers were looking at the public face reactions to get intel LOL.
