Iris drops hwasin's nat and takes it out, but hwasin counterdrops Iris at his nat and so far took out most of it. Iris then drops Hwasin's expansion, takes that out too. Hwasin tries to counter drop at Iris's 3rd, but Iris defends it. Hwasin looks to be in a bad position.

July took advantage of his early advantage (sounds weird...) and took 4 bases, but his ling/lurk micro was horrible. Or maybe he should have waited for a bigger force. Either way... he decided to use lurk/ling instead of going fast hive. You can't do both. And it could have worked. I think that micro really decided this game. Although his ling attack on that medium-sized M&M force was cute.

He had 3 (4?) gas and stayed on Lair for two years, only building lurkerlings. His macro was absolutely horrendous. The advantage he had was huge and I still have no idea how he could lose.
Also he could have done soooooo much more with his early lurkers, after killing the first marines group.

july always seems to start being aggressive JUST for the sake of being aggressive.
july had a really good opening, and was doing great damage w/ mutalisks while taking a 3rd gas really quickly. At this point, july should be adding on more hatcheries, getting some lurkers, and proceeding w/ his marginal advantage.
HOWEVER, july stupidly ALWAYS says "hmmm, i have an advantage. i can probably just make a bunch of mutalisks and zerglings and attack move his front to win"

that was a great game nonetheless. hwasin extended himself over the map better though, expansions wise, which is what gave it to him in the end. this game was a classic example of "winning the battle, losing the war"

i think the biggest killer for july was his stupid 3rd gas placement
if you are playing a "many hatchery, big center control" style play (which july was doing), then you should be taking 3rd gas expoes that are close to the center, as they will be easier to defend. July should have been taking the @6 natural expansion. when any attack occured at that expansion, July simply couldn't get his army down there in time T.T
if you are playing a "super defense, wait till hive, terran can have the center control" style play (which GGPlay/Savior do lots" then you should be taking expansions that you can defend cutely, such as another main, as you can throw 2 lurkers down to defend the ramp and most of your troops will be pulled back anyways.

didn't catch the start, but the when i got back, july was in hwasin's main doing the muta harass thing, probably opened 2 hatch, and added a 3rd hatch at his mineral only.
first major battle. july's muta harass has reduced hwasin's marine count by quite a bit, and later july's lurkerling engages hwasin's army in the middle of the map, and pushes him back to his nat.
hwasin pushes out with tanks. they engage again, and they trade armies. july with hive tech coming though. (second screenshot isn't very representative of the result of the battle, july saved many lurkers)
july has hive tech out, but few units, but good swarm pushes hwasin all the way back to his nat.
hwasin cleans up with irradiate and moves out again. swarms push him back and lurklinghydra finishes up.
hwasin tries to move out again, meets july's huge army, lots of irradiate, but july comes out on top. pushes hwasin back to his mineral only.
but in the meantime, hwasin drops july's main and takes out some drones there. (this drop just took out july's expo at nostalgia nat)
more engagements of hydralingswarm vs marinemedicvessel, with hwasin coming out on top eventually, because july has to rely on hydraling as hwasin refuses to let him take a 3rd gas.

It's not the same as last year. I don't know how that interview was translated, but Bisu said he has the possibility of facing Light if Light beats Iris.
This misunderstanding is a problem because everybody's assuming that players are dodge each other, when in fact OSL is designed so that this doesn't happen.
It's a random draw that pairs up A1 B1 C1 D1 with A2 B2 C2 D2.

That was when OSL had 24 players, so third place in each group had a chance to qualify to the round of 16

Currently, that is the likely scenario.
But I don't really feel sorry for Stork. If he wants to be deserving of his KeSPA rank, he has to elevate his play in PvZ and not even facing Savior twice is an excuse to his poor performance.

flash takes out a "contain" that frozean has on his centre nat

Ehh...Savior wants to win to show people have been writing him off too early, I doubt he just wants to settle for semifinals. Someone like Flash is just trying to make it as far as possible through the easiest opponents and he showed it through the game he played. He already lost with that kind of attitude.
