kal vs light on blue storm. kal 8 opens with 1 gate expo before core/gas. light opens with rax, then expo before fac as his gas gets stolen twice by kal. now both players with their expos up. kal 2 gate and robotics up, going reavers. light with 1 fac, just cleared out some zealots at his nat, but taking some marine casualties himself. light scouts reavers. armory and academy up for him.

light starting another cc at his main for expo to his mineral only. reaver drop at light's nat. he takes out a fuck lot of SCV. about 10 SCV down for light there. wraith takes down the shuttle and the reaver. kal gets his mineral only up. light now floating his cc to his mineral only. kal with 2 stargate and fleet beacon in his main.

5 facs for light. he scans the carrier tech. light now moving out with about 8 tanks taking the centre of the map. kal warping in more gates for 8. 2 carriers out. light taking bottom right.

kal's army is 2 carrier about a group of goon and 1.5 group of zealot. carrier + reaver harassing at light's nat. light going to force the 2 carrier away easily. but in the meantime kal has taken out light's tanks in the centre of the map with his zealot/goon army because of light's lack of mines. army moving towards bottom right now and light is going to lose that expo. but light has done some damage to the economy of kal, taking out some probes with a tank shooting across the wall.

kal has taken 12, and he's got a pretty big land army. of about 2 group of goon and a group of zealot. 3 carrier for him now, moving to harass light's nat. while his army heads towards bottom right, forcing cancel of the CC there. kal with carrier zealot in light's nat and he has forced light to transfer his SCVs away. he takes down the CC at light's nat. not looking good for light. huge land army for kal as well.

kal's huge land army engages light's tank/gol/vult in the centre of the map. somehow light manages to turn him away, but light knows the game is lost and he ggs anyway.

Kal got off to a nice start with the gas steal -> fast nex and reaver drop which got a lot of scvs. It was enough of an edge to get carriers while producing enough of a ground force to keep Light from running him over.

click the option 2 to the right of MBC (second from left). then there'll be a huge shinhan bank proleague banner thing there. click that. select which stream you want. mbc/stx or estro/ace. click that. then click the orange button.

just came back from boxer vs tester. boxer > tester with timing rush after FD opening. anyways when i came back pusan was in terran's main with about a group and a half of goon, shelling his factories. terran gives up after some mild resistance. saw some arbs for pusan as well, but i don't know if they did much. btw, i haven't checked intothewow's jukebox, but what is music they play after each game?

MBC Z gets lings out in time to prevent the STX Z from damaging him. but a zealot from SOUL P joins in the fray. good micro though from MBC Z and he pushes the attack away, losing only 1 drone. spire up for him now. some zealot melees in STX P's main, but goons come for him, and he forces bisu's zealots away. now ling/zealot/goon coming to attack STX P.

STX P pulls probes to defend, and he's losing a lot of them. mutalisks out for STX Z, and he's gotten all drones except 1 in MBC Z's main. MBC looks to be in the weaker position. STX P still has a number of probes. about 10. muta micro now taking down bisu's probes.

bisu lost his cannon in his mineral line. and his probes are mostly down. he's attacking STX P with his goons now. but STX goon/muta combo should hold. and it does. bisu has 1 probe, but MBC Z has rebuilt his economy. STX P with about 6 goon though, so an attack on MBC Z now will finish the game.

sea proxying another factory at top lane now. vultures for him. 3rd hatch for calm at mid lane expo, ydra den for him as well. sea uses rax trick to get vultures into calm's main. but calm has lings out and they take out his vulture. sea pushes another vulture through, but now calm has hydras out and he'll stop the vultures easy. in the meantime sea has gotten an expo up at top lane. and he's starting another fac in his main. armory as well. lair for calm now.

calm trying muta harass vs sea, but its not doing too well vs ranged goliath. he's picked off a couple of SCV and goliath at sea's top lane expo. he's taking another expo at bottom lane, and his eco looks very strong. sea with about 2 group of goliath and vessel with irradiate coming. calm keeping sea in his main with his muta harass, while taking many expos and getting his economy up. queen's nest up for calm. cc for expo to mid lane up for sea.but i'd say calm is leading. calm taking another bottom lane expo, and hive coming.

he hasn't got much units except that group of muta and a group of hydra. which means he probably has a tonne saved for hive tech units. probably guardians. calm taking a top lane expo now. sea expos to his mid lane expo, and has a huge gol/tank army of about 3 group. greater spire coming + defiler mound. but if sea attacks now. he will be able to do some good damage. only 2 group of hydra some sunken and mutas defending zerg's mid lane.

zerg suicides his whole army into sea's huge ball of gol/tank, and now he's defending his hydra lurk at mid lane. sea pushing in very aggressively with his goliaths now. but consume is up. and swarm is probably going to defend for zerg. sea taking another top lane expo, but losing many gol to the lurk/swarm. quite needlessly i must say. hydra lurk group moving toward top lane for calm now, with defiler support.

calm in sea's main with lurk swarm now. he's delaying at his mid lane vs sea's army with lurker/swarm. his hydra lurk at top lane has taken out the CC and all the SCVs. calm getting ultralisks soon. this game looks over. huge hydra lurk army at mid now. sea is just not doing enough damage to calm's economy. calm has 5 gas and can maintain that hydralurk hive tech forever and ever.

huge hydra lurk attack on sea's army at bottom lane, and it gets owned by mass tank. current expo count calm with 2 taking another, sea with 3. (one in the top lane just established, going to mine out soon, one in bottom lane pretty new.) calm making a move towards sea's top and bottom lane bases. carelessly loses his defiler at the top lane. bottom lane's attack has pushed sea back to his expo. sea once again looks like he's losing this.

but calm is taking +2 expos in the bottom lane and the top lane. sea content with just sitting and harassing with vultures. he gets in good harass at the bottom lane expo, killing many drones there, and at the recently established top lane expo. calm looks low on gas. he's getting lings now. sea pushing into calm's bottom expo now. nicely spread tanks with mines. the expo is down.

calm tries to take out sea's push at bottom lane, but late swarms and good tank positioning, gets calm's army raped. calm now attacking top lane. some tanks and mine defends with reinforcement goliath. sea has taken the top right island expo. not looking good for calm now. huge tank gol army moving up bottom lane. andand sea has taken another expo at bottom lane as well. hydra ling moving down top lane with defiler support. takes out the CC at top lane but sea had already transferred his SCVs.

sea's huge army at bottom lane is going to move into calm's main soon. calm going to try and stall for time with swarm and lurkers. in the meantime calm drops sea's top right base and sea has no defense there so the CC and scvs go down. sea vulture harasses calm's only remaining expo and kills all the drones there. calm GGs after trying to drop sea's bottom lane base, but sea's army is there waiting for him. very nice game by sea there.

like i commented earlier before, many mistakes from both sides

sea was ahead until calm managed to stop him with defiliers.
the push at sea's base balanced things back again.

sea still had a huge army, and calm wasn't taking full advantage of that push as well

then it was just a back and forth game and sea managed to pull through

Good news: Katrina is good for pvt 7-3, Pusan playing one game on this, beating Flash.

Bad news: Hwasin is 2-0 over Pusan in the past year. The only 3 terrans to win a game on Katrina have been the last 3 tvp matches in a row on that map.
Pusan is 5-7 this year in pvt.
Hwasin is 14-12 this year tvp, but the tricky thing is, 8 of his 12 losses this year have came from Bisu.

hwasin starting a wall with depot and rax, getting a refinery now. pusan with pylon gateway, second pylon out as well. pusan's probe gets in just before hwasin finishes his wall with a second depot. and pusan takes his expo. fac started for hwasin.

core and second gate started for pusan. hwasin has started starport in his main, and its scouted by pusan's scouting probe, because of hwasin's micro mistake with killing pusan's probe.

2 gate and range for pusan, don't see robotics yet. hwasin planting some mines below pusan's ramp. robotics started. forge done at the expo. hwasin started expo as well. addon for hwasin's starport done quite a while ago, but still no dropship. cannon at pusan's expo and +3 gate for 5. hwasin's expo is done. cannon at his main mineral line.

hwasin starts 3rd cc in his main, pusan expoing to his centre nat as well. 5 gate for pusan. hwasin still 2 fac, but getting 2 more now. armory and academy done for him. stargate and archives coming for pusan. commentators saying thats its likely to be arbiter.

arbiter tribunal coming for pusan now. his centre nat is up, and he's got speed zealots and a few goon. hwasin going up to 5 facs now. pusan is low on goon, only 6. but he's got many zealot. pusan taking bottom right base, stargate blinking now. hwasin sneaks 5 vult into pusan's base, and they scout his gateway count + arbiter tech. pusan recalls his whole army to defend.

arb out for pusan, he's got about 8 gates. hwasin upping his gate count to 8 as well. another vult group makes its way into pusan's main. they don't do much damage probe wise, but mines take out a number of units. bottom right is up for pusan. hwasin scouts it though. but once again its nicely cannoned so not much damage. pusan shuttle harassing hwasin's nat. now preparing to recall into hwasin's nat. hwasin moving out with huge army. now would be good time. pusan moves in.

hwasin's nat is down, but he'll defend at his main. another army from pusan at hwasin's centre nat now, wreaking havoc, looks like all SCVs down for him there. but hwasin's main army is progressing towards pusan's main. will do some good damage. but pusan has bottom right and hwasin has 0 expo now.

This game is keeping me on the seat. It's really close, and Hwasin has a huge army, but it's over once he loses it due to Pusan's expos.

pusan taking mass expos at bottom right nat and the mineral only at 11. he's got a group of goon trying to attack hwasin's main, but hwasin's tanks hold easy. his main has no more minerals though, and pusan has rewarped many gateways and all his important tech at bottom right. pusan probably out supplying hwasin by 2x now. but pusan is stupidly going for hwasin's main again, instead of taking out hwasin's main army. hwasin's main is a fucking fortress. no way he's taking that out. pusan retreats.

mineral only goes down, but no probes there for pusan anyway. hwasin's main army is down. to pusan's arbiter dragoon/templar/zealot stasis. but hwasin moves out with another vult/tank army. he has retaken his nat, but pusan can recall into that ez.

pusan gets a nice stasis on hwasin's tanks and he rapes the new attack by hwasin. pusan has 3 base running perfectly fine now. 6 nat 6 main and 12 centre gas base. this game is his. playing very very safe with cannons everywhere.

Just the few things that bothered me were his initial micro mistake on letting the scouting probe see his starport, rendering it useless, along with the fact that.. well no offense to Pusan, but he should be someone Hwasin could easily beat.

I guess you could argue the map, but just looking at how the game went, the map didn't really make much of a difference, since Pusan didn't really travel around using the ground.
