*Promotional video and Think Quick graphics by: Twitch.TV/Arg_Depleted / IG @AndresBrasesco / Discord Andres_B#4990. Flags of players in video indicate their country of residence. For example, Koget who is from Poland currently lives in Denmark, so the Danish flag is used for him. Prize pool now is $5200.
Tournament Format In this invitation only round robin tournament, 12 of the best foreigners from the Team Think Quick series will face-off against each other in five-game showmatches (e.g., 5:0 or 4:1 possible) over the course of three months. In total, there will be 66 showmatches and 330 games featuring four Protoss, four Terran and four Zerg representatives.
Unique Prize System Every single game won by a player will be worth an equal percentage of the total prize. At the current prize pool, each win brings in a minimum of $10 and every showmatch is worth a minimum of $50. If a player wins 5-0 in a showmatch, then he earns $50. If a player loses 2-3 in a showmatch, then he still wins $20.
This means three or four players in this tournament will not be able to grab all the prize money for themselves. And as the prize pool increases with donations and subscriptions throughout the season, so too will the value of each game won. Earnings will be paid out at the end of the event.
Stream Schedule The Best of the Best Tour premiers Friday, Feb 05 6:00pm GMT (GMT+00:00) and Saturday, Feb 06 10:00pm GMT (GMT+00:00) and there will be stream events every Friday and Saturday thereafter (during same times) until the end of April.
During every stream event you will get to watch three showmatches (15 games). One showmatch will be live and the other two will be freshly preplayed. Six amazing showmatches (30 games) await you every weekend.
They will be casted by community members such as Kwark, MasterRey, Pato, Snipe and others from our network. The players in the tournament will not be streaming any of their showmatches so you will have to follow the official stream which will be geared towards raising the prize pool via subscriptions and donations to financially support all the players equally.
Best Replays Twitch subscribers will receive the biggest and best replay packs from this event. In the first month of February, a $5 subscription will buy you a 110 game replay pack. In the second month, a $5 subscription will bring you another 110 game replay pack and in the third month a $5 subscription will bring you the last 110 game replay pack. That’s 330 awesome replays from the Best of the Best for $15! All subscription funds will go toward the prize pool in order to benefit players who win games.
Monthly replay packs will be provided to Twitch subscribers in a private subscription channel inside our discord server at the end of each month when all the games have been played and streamed. If you wish to obtain these replays in order to cast them, please kindly inform ox[tQ] in the Team Think Quick discord before subscribing.
Donations Welcome For every $25 donated, you can receive 25 individual (best-of-five or best-of-seven) replay packs featuring S rank players from our regular showmatch series. These players include Dewalt, Scan, Sziky, Khala, Terroru, Yabsab, Dandy, Ample, Trutacz, Artuser, Oya, Yoon, Chaelyn, Stryker, Dragon, Cross, Voddy and more. All donations will go toward the prize pool as well. If you wish to obtain these replays in order to cast them, please kindly inform ox[tQ] in the Team Think Quick discord before donating. If you have donated, please privately message ox[tQ] on Team Liquid or on discord to receive your replay pack.

Shirtless Promises If we obtain a $6,000 prize pool by the end of the season, Terroru and Oya have both agreed to play half naked (without a shirt) on their own streams one day after the tournament ends. A $6,000 prize would turn every single game win into $18 and every showmatch would be worth $90.
Public Contest Whoever predicts the final individual standings from #1 to #12 will win a $25 prize. The final standings will be determined by the end of April. You must submit your prediction in this thread before February 28, 2021. Please provide a top-down list. For example:
1. Player name 2. Player name 3. Player name 4. Player name 5. Player name 6. Player name 7. Player name 8. Player name 9. Player name 10. Player name 11. Player name 12. Player name
If more than one person answers correctly, then the winner will be whoever posted the correct prediction first. Any second, third and fourth place winners (with correct predictions) will receive replay packs.
Don't miss... Friday April 23 2021 13:00 EDT / 19:00 CET Bonyth v Dewalt (live) Trutacz v Voddy Dandy v Oya
Saturday April 24 2021 17:00 EDT / 23:00 CET Dandy v Terror (live) Cross v Koget Dragon v Sziky
Weekly showmatch lineups will be announced in a separate thread. Full three month lineup schedule is available in our Liquipedia page (created by Fakefin) linked above.
There's a footnote about that underneath the video. Basically, country of residence and not birthplace determines the flag of players in the video. I don't think we will be using flags in other graphics so hopefully this does not cause an uproar.
For anyone interested, I highly recommend our graphics designer (Depleted aka Jengee) whose contact information is provided beneath the video. He was a major reason why I started our little series and I am proud to promote his work.
Been enjoying BW lately a lot, glad to see so many good things are still happening.
Looking forward watching this regularly, but as old-new guy I want to say I feel current scene lacks occasional classic/basic few days tournament style event. Most of stuff that is happening are leagues and showmatches. My 2c.

would love to donate some of these gains to the people who thrive to keep this game alive.
Awfully generous of you to offer. Unfortunately right now the only way to bring money onto the matcherino platform normally is paypal. But your gesture alone is much appreciated by me and the players. We tried very hard by the way to come up with a new and equitable prize system to potentially benefit all contestants in our event so I hope interested donators/subscribers take that into consideration.
The prediction is hard.. cross did really well in the latest BSL ladder tour and is at 2300 with 100 games already. How active is trutacz? I feel like I haven't seen him on as much lately. Sziky is practicing like mad, and OyA is as well, despite playing on mobile internet. I don't feel confident at all in my prediction.
1. Dewalt 2. Bonyth 3. Sziky 4. OyA 5. TerrOr (I wish #1 for TerrOr of course! <3) 6. Dandy 7. kogeT 8. Cross 9. trutacz 10. Dragon 11. Stryker 12. Voddy
Yeah I've had too much fun and forgotten about all the misery in the world lol
Any second, third and fourth place winners (with correct predictions of final individual standings) will receive replay packs. Thanks Phase aka MyFleetingDream for the suggestion. I have updated the OP to reflect this addition.
Compliments all go to players, casters, mappers, graphic designers and wonderfully supportive fans/viewers such as yourself.
I will update our weekly lineup in the OP as well as post new lineups in our general forum thread (as soon as I get the relevant paired up anime sketches, I will post those too).
We have extended the deadline (for posting predictions of the final 12 rankings) to February 28. People who have posted predictions already may post a new prediction if they wish to. Please don't edit your old post containing your old prediction list as we can't see time stamps of edited posts. Instead post a new prediction list and we will ignore your first (older) list.
Here's the leaderboard as of today in case anyone wishes to take it into consideration in making their prediction.
Just in case the method of ranking players is not as straightforward as I thought - what is the method of organizing players in the image above? Is it by some metric of points?
PS. Thanks for this continued investment into foreign BW. You are doing great work <3
Yea the haphazard ordering of names is from me, since that’s the order we sent the graphic designer. The only consideration to ordering that I gave was to group EU at the top and Americas at the bottom (something that we had done to make it easier to schedule live games)
Regarding the level of tediousness: the graphic is unfortunately not a table that can be easily sorted, so if Ox had the time, he’d have to manually reorder them each week depending on whatever sorting method we think makes sense, e.g. perhaps the ratio/percentage.
Cross was unable to play any matches until the end of February, that's why he hasn't played any games yet. Instead of replacing him, we accommodated Cross due to his schedule, mainly because he joined our discord in its infancy, and participated in our showmatch series (when we were doing them live in July/August!). Trutucz also can't play any live games due to some personal commitments on weekends, so we accommodated him as well instead of trying to replace him with someone else who could play live matches. This event was a way for us to thank and reward these players for joining and supporting us <3
Also, I should point out all 12 of our BBT players are in BSL S11 Proleague =) We selected these players in September 2020.
*February 26's event will start at 17:00 EST / 23:00 CET so as not to overlap/conflict with BSL's Season 11 premier.
Leaderboard as of today, organized (finally!) by rankings.
Last day of the event (April 24), we'll try to show the final rankings and replace the remaining column with dollar figures of how much each player earned. Also, during the last stream event we'll hopefully identify a winner from this thread who predicted the final rankings as close as possible and earned the $25 prize.
Looks like Dewalt is running away with it. If he goes 4-1 in his next series and Bonyth goes 8-2 in his next 2 then Bonyth will need a 4-1 in their head to head match. It’s amazing that in 9 series Dewalt only dropped 9 games and 5 of those were to Terror. If we exclude that one series Dewalt dropped 4 games in 40.
Please consider donating to the Best of the Best Tour which ends April 24! All money goes to the prize pool and is distributed according to single game wins! A nearly 3 month series, featuring 12 foreign, top, active and reliable players, participating in 66 showmatches/330 games, streamed twice a week, casted by a wide array of community oriented casters, and every single event lasting for 4 or more hours! Help us reach the $5,000 stretch goal! This legendary series certainly deserves it
Current leaderboard. Every player had 11 opponents and 55 games to play. Players ranked by win rate ratio. Maximizing single game wins and minimizing single game losses is the yardstick of best of the best status and prize distribution.
Every single game win worth almost $16 now.
**$5000+ Best of the Best Tour **
FINAL WEEK
Friday April 23 2021 13:00 EDT / 19:00 CET Bonyth v Dewalt (live) Trutacz v Voddy Dandy v Oya
Saturday April 24 2021 17:00 EDT / 23:00 CET Dandy v Terror (live) Cross v Koget Dragon v Sziky
I'll try to get more live matches for the last two events.
We are a few hundred dollars away from our stretch goal! Please consider donating for another BBT! All money goes to prize pool, and supports the players in this series who make up a good chunk of the cutting edge of the foreign scene.
A deep heart felt thank you to all the wonderful BBT players, casters, graphic designers, Liquipedia editors, Twitch/YouTube viewers/commentators, Matcherino donators/Twitch subscribers and TL users/moderators who followed our three month event containing 66 showmatches 330 games. Couldn't have gotten through the first long, dark COVID winter without you all. Thanks for sharing many magical moments with us.
Here is the final leaderboard with the prize amounts adding up to $5700.
A big thank you to all our Matcherino donators, especially CRVT. On behalf of the players I wish to extend my gratitude once again for your financial support and pitching in for others who perhaps could not afford to.
Thanks for all of the submissions! It was impressive that so many people predicted the results as close as they did. ox.tQ will be PMing winners of the prediction contest with their prizes.
That series of show matches turned out to be much more fun and epic than most of us were expecting. Really good job Mr. tQ and think quick team ! Thanks for your hard work brothers <3
I'm looking forward for another edition ! If there will be open qualifiers I will definitely take part !
