They looked really solid as a whole in all matches in group stage. Flash's team would need to get to ace match and that means 2 other people/teams would have to win matches in addition to Flash himself :/
can see a similar 4-3 scrap win like they did to piano's team with some luck of the draw. sharp can be top drawer on his day.

FBH gathering the troops both with a wig and a serious face. Snow leading the battle. Mong and Action looking strong.
It's Gonna be a close final. They look strong as a team. But Bisu vs Snow, Action vs Soma and it can go any direction.
My feels say they're favourites atm.
Also, looked at the stream numbers. +60k viewers when counting in Bisu, Britney, Shuttle etc. Anyone know how many viewers ASL usually gets? Is +60k a success? Maybe even an increase?

Both Snow and Action have been extremely good this league. No wonder the Buffaloes are in the final

I am interested in high-level BW but just skipped around the matches, cuz the results are so easy to predict. Jyj v Action heavily favors Action. Snow v Ssak heavily favors Snow. Best v whatever Terran he played (already forgot) heavily favors Best. Everything was chalk. Those games were all pretty one-sided.
The skill gaps are just too high b/w the elite players and the okay players. So I ended up only watching top player v top player sets, skipping mirrors.
Hopefully either this is just a one-time thing, or the quality of play improves substantially in the future. The 3v3/2v2s are auto skip, of course, just time fillers. I hope they abandon those, or at least only have one.

All the protoss matches today were very entertaining. That last one was classic, solid SPL ace match, tough and heavy PvP. Snow is so good.
On that note he and Action are great together. I really like when in teamplay you're not just playing parallel but try to match-up so that common base w/ forward gate and hatch was great to see. But man that strat from Hyuk and Ssak was brutal. Super 2v2!
Hoping that Fbh can ride to glory~~~

That's just, like, your opinion man. This particular 2v2 was very good

The 2v2s have been the best part of the league so far IMO. Iron Curtain is such a great fucking map.

This is where tactics come into play. We could have something like Mong vs Ssuck, Action versus Hyuk etc with different results. Granted I think Dontamra was one of the worst teams in this league but they still managed to get this far.

This situation allows for awesome upset games that have almost been the highlight so far, for example go watch sexy (10minflash) go beat sSak with outstanding execution tvt the other day. Or sSak (not best!) being the suprise ace player vs hero, and coming into it with some great hyper-aggressive dropship play to win. Imho if you like brood war, I dont understand why you'd skip mirror match ups - all because it's not humans shooting aliens doesn't mean it's not great content.

Im watching anyway and still enjoying it, but gorillapimp has a point. The skills gap between like the top15 and the rest is just too big to have a team league in the long run. On the other hand, im super interested in watching amateur or semi-pros leagues and see whos rising

They can improve....and this gives them a great chance to do so (attention and practice with the gosu's, plus the super important stage experience).

I don't always skip mirrors. Depends who's playing and what's at stake. No need to strawman my opinion; you could just asked why I didn't/don't always watch mirrors. Nor do I feel the need to fit into your preconceived box of "if you like brood war" bonafides. I watch what I watch for me and my own personal enjoyment. Sorry if it's not good enough for you. I just left my opinion on a pseudo-public forum. It's not a big deal, and if you disagree, that's perfectly okay.
I have more hope for the next match and the Finals. Bisu's team is loaded.
Nor do I mean to imply every match in this format has been bad. Some matches have been good. I find, on average, one set worth watching to me. That's fine for me; I'm just waiting for the new season of KCM and the next individual season of ASL. This has been fun to kill time; usually there's just a really long gap of no Brood War. But taking it seriously? I don't take it remotely seriously.

Yikes didnt Bisu's team ended up in last with no wins? It did.
Btw the atitude that can be perceived from your first post kind of deserved what you got and more, so no need to write now from the top of your imaginary high horse.
Edit: Then again, im pretty sure i remember you bashing this league at every chance so its no surprise.

Too bad you perceive confidence as a high-horse. If you don't like me, ignore me. I won't engage with you further. Have a great day!

Great semifinal. Was pretty close but Snow pulled that solid defense in the ace. The ZvT from action was good fun too!
