Flash Rain won't be as good as some people think. Rain's PvT is a lot weaker than most people give him credit for and he lost to Last and Sharp who are way behind Flash is TvP.

Flash vs Snow would be a much better matchup.

Snow vs Flash in ASL5 quarterfinals was one of the best series I've seen, let's hope we'll get a Snow vs Flash finals.

TvT finals would be a disapointment though, no player comes even close against Flash in that matchup.

Jeeeeeeez.. is it really that hard to build a control group of +1 sairs and keep them together so you don't lose air-control and thus get wrecked pretty much in exactly the same way

At least SK got spanked rather well, that made up for some of the mundane nature of the games today.

That'd be a great finals because I feel like ASL5 deserved to go to him. Rain is a god of PvP, but I don't think he was good enough at that time to beat Flash. Remember that was the first time in like 11 years that Flash lost a boX to a protoss player. Snow played a perfect series versus him in ASL5, but I'm not sure lighting will strike twice.

Damn really going to miss SK. He played well but flash was just too much, and Sacscri really upped his game from what I remember of him being a somewhat mediocre kespa player. Hopefully it's not a fluke and Sacscri can help fill the void of good zergs now that SK is gone.

I don't get why soulkey went for triple sunken instead of hydras for his defense against vultures vs flash. I guess it's more gas heavy... but hydras are so much better vs vulture drops and he gets a 3rd gas for free. He still played well but just got too far behind from that drop.

It seems like queens before hive vs mech is a lot more popular in the pro scene right now, but I think I've only seen it fail in this ASL haha.

This Ro8 is going to be sick! Can't wait for Action vs Light finals!

But seriously a snow/action and flash/rain semis with snow vs flash finals would make this an amazing ASL. Honestly any combination of these 8 moving forward would be fantastic.

I wish Sacsri would have switched to an all-in speedling/muta attack when he killed all of Flash's speed vultures in game 2. Flash had literally nothing for defense and I think there's a good chance Sacsri could have outpaced his production of turrets/goliaths. Either way it would have been a better all-in than charging hydras into a sieged up mech army like he did both games.

JD was playing LoL lately and we saw what happened: 0-6 out from KSL, out on ro24 from ASL.

FlaSh showed his god performance 100% today, loved how he killed early game eco of zergs with such little vulture runbies. Aaaand he gets free win. vs. Light plus lower bracket seems easier for him so free ticket for finals.
