All of this reminds me of people on battle.net and iccup not giving someone a regame because they were "BM" in the game. When realistically, it was simply because the BM player was just too good. This ban seems THAT petty.
What's next? People like Models and Yaj getting banned for trolling and joking around in game chat?

Suffice to say that if it was simply trash talk/BM, there wouldn't be a ban. Neither of those users are discouraged from joining us, nor is anyone else except FBM.

Personally I don't like that Ty2 is effectively being given the same punishment as funnybananaman, considering how much he's put in to making the community a better place. The way he handled things was improper, no doubt, but he has acknowledged his mistakes and apologized for them. Not allowing him to participate in the tournament is one thing, but preventing him from even showing up, hanging out, and pigging out with fellow community members is excessively harsh. Honestly I think he'd be a better commentator for the stream than just about anyone else the mic happens to randomly be passed around to.

Yeah it's not my place to get involved in this, but this seems like the rational approach. Come on guys he'll apologize IRL and buy you a beer and you'll become best buddies. Also we'll have a good knowledgeable commentator :O
