The tournament organizer is the guy organizing the tournament. It seems reasonable that he be allowed to organize his tournament as he sees fit. | ||

Of course he's allowed to organize it, and we are allowed to criticize it based on the information we have. If he doesn't want to share more details, then fine, the LAN will still happen and I'm sure everyone will have a great time, but if you ban someone and don't give any details then people will assume the worst. | ||

In my opinion, only cheaters and abusers should be banned from a tournament/LAN. Grudges due to petty online drama shouldn't warrant a ban. That's just crazy. The player pool for remastered seems to be steadily declining. Why ban someone like Ty2 from a tournament/LAN when he does so much for tournaments in the community? | ||

It's wrong to organize a tourney, advertise it on TL and then ban ppl you dislike/have issues with. If he wanted to make it a private tourney he could have hosted a lan w/ his friends and spread the word on discord. Once you post it on TL it becomes a public event, you can't just ban anyone you want over something trivial. You're basically ostracizing someone which is pretty fucked, imo. I'd get it if something bad happened irl between them (lan incident etc.).. but this is just silly. You guys know how much shit was said between players on TL back in the day? We all met up at lans and still went about our business/hung out together. As long as the trash talk is game related it shouldn't be an issue, in-game banter is all in good fun (of course this has its limits as well, anyone with common sense knows the boundaries tho).
