Just tell WCG USA they are sending another player to the nationals, and pay your own way to that far off land, Seattle!

I fucking should. Seems funny if I qualify I have to travel to cali and then miami so that I can drive 20 minutes from my house to play in the world finals rofl.
I think that is a claim nobody else can ever make  Anyways, 1 step at a damn time, I have to do this online crap first >_<

You wouldn't even have to really pay for a spot, and USA would have one badass mother fucker playing for it. Just make it known to them that you're in the area and they won't really have to do anything financial other than let you play.

Yes, they are retarded. 9 P.M. Pacific? What were they thinking? I'm almost certain 9 P.M. Eastern would be more convenient for a greater number of people.

Well i'm a Central Time person so I guess it's worse for me.
-Is it gonna be on East or West server, I've seen West mentioned before but I don't see how you can get a ID tag for WCG on West.

well here's how I see it...
WCG only happens once every year. This online is once a year, and only for 6 days... I think I can afford to take the time to play it because there are an infinite amount of chances to do other stuff whenver I want, but only these 6 days to play WCG online.

Even though it says, North/Pacific, there are no restrictions. The 1st qualifier was South/Atlantic, and people from everywhere played in it and qualified, and are allowed to go to any regional they want if they qualify. This doesn't really sound like a fair way to set it up but it would work if WCG just kept the time the same as it was last time (9est/6pst) and made it clearer that everyone can play in both.

Top 8 qualify.
The top 8 get to choose where they want to go, but it goes in order of placement, and only 4 people are allowed per regional.
So if 1st-4th choose Pacific, 5th-8th are stuck with North regional.
Same with the first qualifier.

You can live anywhere in the USA, and play in any qualifier, but if you win a qualifier that isn't near you, you'll have to travel to that area. So if you got the money to travel, you can play in multiple events until you qualify.
In some games, people play in a pacific event when they live in new york, cuz there's less of a challenge.

anyone got the "WCG" tag yet? I re-downloaded GamOn and I am logged in on both WCGZone and WCG sites but I still have no tag and the GamOn thing seemingly doesnt even connect to bw...

smi.symphony told me you dont get tag until 30 minutes before it starts, this true?
I am logged in with SAME email and SAME ID on WCG site and GamOn site. I have the ID on west, and I have received a confirmation email from WCG admin confirming email/ID matches and west ID ownership. Can anyone tell me if I am missing something or am I good to go?

yeah. this is true. i got word back. you get your tag when the event starts. you can play in uswest channel saturn.
