I literally copy/pasted what you wrote, and the first video in the results shows the winners of both Ro4 matches in the thumbnail. When I went to watch this afternoon it said the full duration, clicked it and it was the final 30 minutes so I missed all the games but 1 haha.

Just search "ASL ro4 day 2" in the search and the video that comes up will not contain any spoiler picture. Or, you know, use afreeca.tv/aslenglish like most people. This comment is off-putting because it contains something that is not true and assumes that everyone wants to watch at afreecaTV; I have a specific reason for watching the ASL at YouTube instead.

WHY IS TERRAN NOT WALLING OFF HIS EXPANSIONS?!?

Both players played their hearts out and that game 3 was like the prime example of how difficult late game TvP can get against such an amazing toss player like Rain who knows how to wear down his opponent. Would definitely recommend for anyone who wants a great TvP series and I'd say this was as entertaining as Flash vs Snow in ASL5. If memory serves, Last had a ton of depots guarding his fourth and it's true that his fifth wasn't walled off, but he was using most of his money on making units and mining etc...

Both 3rd and 4th wasnt walled off, depots were guarding tanks, and there were nothing to stop Rain from roaming around in both Lasts expansions, so last was just moving his army left and right and could barely move out to push... Im wondering are terrans forgot how to wall of after the fighing spirit era or they dont do it because they dont want to spend extra time to figure out the proper walls for new maps? His open entrances to expos were clearly the reason he couldnt do anytning with his macro advantage.

Keep in mind that walling also means that if Rain recalled any of these walled bases, then Last has a harder time moving his army back to save them in time since the mech army is immobile and can be kinda clunky. Furthermore, I think you meant the 4th and 5th since the 3rd base for Last was the one at 2. Suffice to say, I was watching his resources closely and he was extremely busy keeping his macro going which is very demanding to do as well as try to defend and be aggressive when he could. Add on the fact that once Rain started being aggressive, he gave him no time to even think about walling as well.

Edit: I was watching while also trying to put a desk thing together but I don't remember any fast nexii in any of the games? Well maybe in game 5? But the "free" fast nexus on Blockchain is kind of a special case, as was Last's response.

Huge props to Last for some exceptional play this series. Same. This was the finals I wanted. Grah rain is too human still. Control issues here and there where last has infinite apm. For some reason feels like he takes more worse fights than other tosses. Like hell just go macro god and chuck things at the Terran, Man that was really excellent. I really like having some cheese mixed in and both spiced it up nicely. Lasts macro is like a rogue ai

Not the most polished semifinal, but this was one of the most epic for sure, along with Effort-Mini. Starcraft e-sport scene deserves champions from the three races. And there aren't many tosses around. Rain should do it. C'mon, even for the sake of Busu and his fans. At least Rain and his brutal statistics in SC and SC2! I got to say that in those impossible mechanics only Flash is No1 and Bisu at some unit movements, but then it comes Rain, who deserves more than one ASL. Then he can happily retire!

In fact I like Last as a player and he got some cool decisions in his pocket. But he is not the best yet. Not as Effort or Rain. And those lucky proxy factory at the end... I have to admit that Last deserved a 5th deciders match, he deserved one more chance. Not the most polished semifinal, but this was one of the most epic for sure, along with Effort-Mini. Winning championships isn't about "deserving to win" it is about actually beating opponents and it turns out that Rain isn't good enough to beat the other finalist. This is a competitive scene where skill matters the most and it doesn't matter if somebody deserved to win if that player doesn't have the skills to do it. Viewing experience is all about enjoyment. I would still vote a pvt finals over pvp finals. Unless pvp is actually more fun as a spectator but it isn't I understand the frustration but there is still a chance for a "toss champion" with mini on the finals.
