Hello

As European, I'm curious what is the minimum Turn Rate allowed for this league? I specifically ask this because it's an open league and the ping between Korea and Europe can be pretty brutal. How will you solve lag situations? Who is going to be disqualified?

In my personal opinion, allowing for anything below 10 Turn Rate is a backstab.

It's always bad to not listen to people in the community who voice concerns. I think you should find out what the players think about region locking and race-picking, and make a good decision based on the feedback you receive rather than just saying, "Nope, we're doing it this way." when the league hasn't even started yet. I can see the point of having the rules set in stone after the start of the league, but before the league even starts, I think there should be room for compromise so that the players can have the best possible experience.

Why did you ask the community if you don't listen to it ? You are clearly changing the rules to give advantage to your team, this is probably the worst move you could have done. Will you also change the rules during clan war to help your team win it ?

I think we should all hold our opinions until there is some announcement or rebuttal from 619 guys. I feel like this is truly unfair everyone is taking shots while there is probably a valid reasoning for all this.

Well, a few things I noticed this is called the SK Team League that is hosted by SK. They came up with the rules and prize money. Teams have the option of participating or not...Scan is pretty powerful, but he's not invincible. If you don't like it host your own League with your own set of rules.

Eh. It's one thing if you set your own rules from the start and say "take it or leave it". I would agree with you there.

What's being done here is outright poor organization. You don't make certain rules, then ask the community for some feedback, change the rules based on that feedback, and then change the rules again because you have a very good player joining your team. There is no universe in which that is running a quality show, and while players are still free to play or not play; the organizer should be called out for blatantly biased, shitty organization and jerking around potential players and viewers.

So yes, players can host their own leagues or choose not to play...but that doesn't mean a spade shouldn't be called a spade.

I also understand the sentiment and there is reasonable probability you're right...but just suddenly editing these posts and adding players to the roster looks bad, and it's a mistake by the organizer to make those changes without an accompanying announcement.

So, a little bird told me (you did) that you planned on banning Koreans, then you went on a vague tangent about how you don't care about Scan but you might leave it open participation, and then when I asked you straight up if my 3 Koreans are still allowed to play (solely to snipe you - I was straight up and honest about it), you did not respond.

How am I supposed to plan out my roster if I don't know the rules? Are the rules dependent on your final roster?

I guess there is Strength in Knowledge :kappa:

Please let me know because this is critical information that I very much need to know in order to determine what my roster priorities are (I won't give away the full situation here since i don't think it's proper to do so). I don't want to air out any dirty laundry, but if anyone wants a chat log, I'm happy to provide.

There's a ton of quotes and situations in the last 4 months that show this 619 guy to be basically a skeevy pile of garbage. If the people here hope for him to act with any sort of integrity or fairness, then get ready for an entire league full of this same shit that you're dealing with right now.

For example, look at me - I'm in X17 (still exists btw lol) - Tasteless' favorite BM east clan full of bodybuilding BM hacking noobs, and this 619 guy is too sketchy and too much of a piece of shit to be allowed in X17 if he wanted to join.

And he's the representative of the entire clan!

If you don't like the rules then don't play. Sk decided what was best for the team, the community, and the league. If you don't like what was decided then remove your team.
