Seeing all the hate that's pouring out, would it be possible to get some sort of fan message from TL to Flash? I think it would be great if someone in Korea could organize something like this.

Yeah, it's probably like with studying for exams. Pulling an all-nighter once in a while might help but it isn't something that is productive in the long run.

Not a Flash fan here but I would definitely sign after hearing about that "terran OP" shit.

Well this is what Flash said about massing so many games every day. "Everyone was obligated to play at least 10-12 hours a day. Those who were successful, played beyond those hours" "I used to play 40 games a day. I couldn't play more than that because my games were late game oriented" "There is no other way of getting better than playing a lot"

Its irrational and childish. Weird to see someone so collected and precise ingame to be so weak irl. Hopefully its all just talk by him as well. I was never a big fan of Flash in sc2 because he was absurdly overrared, but his BW play is still impressive even for me with my limited knowledge of the game. Would be sad if he stopped competing.
However if there is general feeling that terran is op, afreeca should change the maps. Not reacting to percieved imbalance has proven quite detrimental in sc2. Worst case they can double back after a season. It's not childish at all, if you work hard for something you want to be rewarded no matter what you do. If the only reward is getting shitted on in the internet I can totally understand why he doesn't have the desire to compete anymore. Flash is still human even if it's hard to believe What do you mean with "the only reward is getting shit on" ? EVERYBODY "famous" has haters, that's nothing unique to flash. I have no idea in what proportion it applies to him specifically, but considering that he makes a lot of money on afreeca and has a lot of viewers regulalry i would assume that it's pretty minor in comparison Ofc it's easy for us as random TL posters to say that he should just ignore it, but at the end of the day there are really worse positions than his (which doesn't mean that trolls/ hateful comments aren't a problem, but everybody has unique problems) I think too that the percentage of haters is pretty small but the question is if flash realizes that. Especially now that the players are forced to interact with their chat it can be rough dealing with haters.

Sorry but your views don't line up with reality. All of the most dominant players like Jaedong and Flash are infamous for practicing 14-16 hours a day, including vacations.

The brain suffers from such long hours and doesn't retain information as well but a lot of training is more like muscle memory and I don't know what the diminishing return on that is.

Pretty sure I've read Flash say he played less than other players too.

Man, that was a sick Bo5, especially that ridiculous G4.
I just wish we had seen 4 base zerg. I dunno if the maps aren't suited for late game zerg play but they definitely aren't built to favor muta play anymore so it seems like zerg just can't go nuts like back in Swarm Season.

One question about the health issues:
What would you think of alternative controls like foot pedals or voice commands (or even better options I'm not aware of)? If the current setup is hurting players should future RTS implement other controller options than mouse and keyboard?

Does twitch have any vods of this? It's weird I didn't see any recorded in the twitch channel
