Full disclosure: I was NOT around for the DRTL you speak of. So I cannot confirm or deny anything that you are saying. All I can do is speak on MY personal experience only. Make of that what you will. Having said that, here's what I can tell you about my experience with Jealous:
I never entered any tournaments or tours or anything. I didn't even have many people to play BW with. I just used to log on and play by myself for fun, occasionally. One day, very recently actually, I decided to take the plunge and I am glad I did. I have played with and against so many good players and have learned A LOT. I have also had a lot of fun and met many cool people within the community, especially Jealous.
From the very beginning this guy has showed me nothing but love. He has taken hours out of his busy time to try and teach me tricks, builds, etc. He is always willing to help me in any way possible, whether it be to criticize my replays or offer suggestions, etc. I am grateful and appreciative of this. In addition, he is a genuinely nice guy who I find to be witty and funny. I get his sense of humor although I can also see how some people won't.
Besides that, he has also given much to the BW community. This guy spends countless hours organizing events and tours. I've seen thousands of tours and tourneys come and go. Maybe 1 or 2 of them I have seen completed all the way through. In this past DRIT and CPL seeding, he took over for LMaster and completed the tour. That includes organizing, dealing with admin shit, communication between coaches and players, and casting all the damn games, too. This is, as I mentioned above, in addition to all the time he puts into assisting literally anyone who asks him for help. Now he is moving the CPL league along and that is probably the best ran and most organized tour I've ever seen. He has even got people like eonzerg to come on board and commentate. He is well respected and connected within the community and one thing I like about him is that he isn't afraid to use his resources to push events and casts to the highest possible limits.
So, to me yes he is awesome as I said. You are entitled to your opinion and I respect that. But, based on everything above, even if you don't agree with him or like him, I think he does deserve some of your respect.

Jealous has basically run a CPL team when the coach went missing despite it not being his responsibility.

uh well he cheated my DRTL team out of a season win by stacking his d team with B players so no i really don't think he does. also cheated in CRTL with the same B level players. also he's been banned multiple times from TL before so
doing good things now doesn't cancel out the bad things he did before

You've misrepresented what happened 5 years ago, ignored my public apology and the work I've done since then to repent and contribute to the community, and derailed this thread. what did i misrepresent what happened 4 years ago? your whole DRTL team was smurfs except for one person and you cheated the B- limit by putting minister into your CRTL team and you obviously don't think you did anything wrong at all or you wouldn't be taking this kind of attitude
