Flash is best in everything, except for mentality. Probably the weakest mentality of all the 6 bonjwas. Have he ever turned around a series in any memorable fashion? Obviously he was so good he usually didn't have to.

Interesting point - I went back out of interest, and I could only find him coming back from being 2-1 down in a bo5 once, against Stork in 2008. He has never been down 0-2 and still won in Brood War. The only time he did so was against Snute in IEM Toronto.

Thank you for checking that. I could never recall him ever doing that you see. He always took the lead in a series so he had a great mentality and focus on the game going into a BOX. But speaking of comebacks, Flash could do it INSIDE a game. I guess that speaks for a certain good mentality, but between games, if things dont go his way, he can tilt harder than the other champions it seems.

I would add Stork and Bisu as well. Not as many accomplishments but similarly insane players.

Not particular young anymore. He is born in 1992 so he is the same age as Flash. Last was a pro back in the day and had quite a talent actually. He is not fresh blood so to speak, but he seems to be a late bloomer of sorts.

except last is higher on the ladder and most metrics follow bet matches, which is pretty much on the same level as the real thing.

First game: all Last need is an scv and dropship and he owns flash. Its insane how much levels last is above Flash right now. I expected 3-1 for last but it might just be 3-0.
If you havent noticed from all the ex pros Flash is the one who jumped right into the competition, without the usual time for preparation that others spent before going into tournaments, i hope he will get better than this.

Bisu jumped right in to tbh, but the level of talent was definitely lower at the time of his return.

I dont think he really had a bad mentality at all, I mean, he won so many championships how could he...flashes only real fault imo is that he often falls into predictable patterns. Like, christ, the dude was going 14cc every single game regardless of matchup for weeks at one point back in 2008, and he repeated that cycle a few times in his career. He would just get stuck on these obvious loops. Maybe thats a mentality weakness and maybe thats why he never turns around series hes losing, though? He's a little robotic.

Bisu also seemed to hate sc2 alot more than flash did. He probably was just less out of practice in general.

Jaedong spoke about becoming more nervous as he has gotten older as a gamer. It could be similar for Flash.

This is the best linear graph ever:

Unexpected results for sure, but to me, if Flash had to be eliminated from this tournament it had to be by a Terran.

I don't believe what was that? When I opened VOD I saw 1 and half hour timeline, seems to be really quick paced for TvT which means someone got 3-0'ed but even for million bucks I won't bet against Flash, 3-0ing God is impossible for human being. Do you realize what you created God?

In other hand I saw Last today in my dream, we had a talk, really weird, I never see any progamers in my dreams, I don't ever met any of them lol. Maybe that was a sign from above. Well done AlphaGo!

If Last beats on finals undefeated our new God gonna be a computer AI!

Flash looked as if he wasn't prepared. Last play wasn't the best TvT I've seen but it was just enough and that's why this series looks really disappointing.
