But, there's something fatalistic about Zero's play, like he doesn't quite believe he's as good as Flash or Jaedong. You can never be confident watching Zero in a game against a similarly skilled player, because you can kind of tell he's not that confident. If Zero had Jaedong's mental strength / confidence he might well have been a multiple MSL/OSL winner.
Zero's still a great player. He's certainly one of the top 10 Zerg players of all time in my book, and there's an outside case to be made that he's top 5, though it's hard to put him over any of Jaedong, Savior, Yellow, July, or Effort, and there's still guys like Chojja to account for. Tastosis didn't do him justice in the introductions because of all the gushing over Flash, though in fairness, that was totally deserved as well. The softness of Zero is renown and probably the reason why he was not as successful as other greatest players. Should I mention Sea? Another great player with mentality problems. Yeah though in fairness to Zero, I think he's like 10x the mental strength of Sea. But that says more about how pitiful Sea's mental "strength" is. Both are prime examples of unfulfilled potential, though Zero's always bugged me more simply because he was closer to being truly great. A fully potential reached Zero would have been a great complement to Jaedong and Effort as all three have different styles. Whereas it's hard to imagine even a peak potential Sea being any better than 80% Flash. Don't forget about Soulkey, who was thought to be the next successful reincarnation of Zero. And where is he now? That guy was brilliant and probably the next Zerg champion to be...

BeSt's style has always been troublesome for Flash. It's always been a strategic outmaneuver that wins the game in those cases.

Didn't SoulKey get some success in SC2 and thus is still playing there?

Losing his bo4 to Keen (who retired recently), Super and bo3 to Byun does not look like he has success, at least in LOTV. He was promising in HOTS but then he just disappeared (correct me if I am wrong).

I missed only Effort - Shuttle (5 pool seriously?). Sharp - Organ -- was a poor game, where Organ could not do anything special and Sharp just slowly rolled him over. Zero - Flash -- good game with tons of gore and late game BW niceness, Flash macro won. Last - Mong -- Last just straight outplayed Mong through sheer micro and didn't let it go till the end.
Nice day, it is also pleasant to see Artosis/Tastless say so much good words about BW. I feel like Artosis didn't expect that he would enjoy it so much. BW hits the spot no matter how long you haven't played it.

Best and shuttle are the only ones with winning record against Flash since Flash came back to bw. But even that gap has been slowing narrowing.

Zero played fantastically but:
- There's been talk about using hydras to clear really big minefields very efficiently and also to be able to take extra bases more easily (Hero's tried it a few times).
In my opinion there's a lot of promise in this.
- I was begging for queens but I guess he was just too tight on resources and flash was too much in his face.
- If there are almost no turrets a mutalisk switch can do quite a lot of damage especially when there's 3 gas bases quite close together like on fighting spirit and overwatch.
The problem in my opinion in most games is if you go for a lot of drops, terrans already start building a lot of turrets and then a muta switch isn't even possible anymore.
Sick games, going to check out Effort vs Shuttle now because I missed it haha.

I can't find the post, but someone gave some criticism that they should plug teamliquid so fresh blood / getting interested in the scene could get answers. I tweeted Artosis & Tasteless that they should plug TL more, and they both favorited that tweet.
So hopefully they'll do that for future broadcasts and we'll get more people coming here to get BW information.
