His actual play has definitely been suspect as of late, but has anyone but me noticed his amazing macro? The guy makes just as many units as oov or Sea. It's just that he doesn't seem to know what to do with those units quite as well as everyone else...
Other thoughts: Anytime vs. Yarnc should be interesting. I'm of the opinion that PvZ on Arkanoid is really good for P, but opinions seem to vary. We didn't get to see many PvZs on Arkanoid last season, so I'm really excited about this one. I'm also very excited about GGPlay vs. ForGG; it has potential.
July vs. GF has potential, too, but both players have been putting in pretty sub-par performances lately. So I'm not too excited.

Dongrae came out with 3rine, 2 scvs and 1 vult vs oovs 3 marines and vult. all marines traded and then dongrae boxed in oovs vult with his rax and killed it.
oov has a starport along with his expansion. Basically looks like both players are doing the same thing, except oov expanded very fast while dongrae is getting his expansion about 2 minutes later.

Savior broke into Chojja's base with some speedlings and took out the one sunken plus some drones and made Chojja lose mining time. I count only like 4 drones left for Chojja.
How can you lose going 9 pool vs. 12 hatch expo in fairly close positions? Savior's micro on the initial attack was completely flawless and he lost not a single drone before killing all 6 of Chojja's initial lings. Then he countered into Chojja's base and forced the morphing mutas to stay and clean up the mess, doing major drone damage in the meantime. Finally, morphing mutas of his own off a much later spire with better economy for the win.

In a sense, but not really. Chojja had less econ to begin with because of his 9 pool, so really he was behind by 2-4 lings or w/e and had 3 less drones. He COULD have had more gas, but its unlikely since the 9pool/lair build usually has the Z pulling 1 drones off gas after the lair or speed is made.

July made all those lings and I just dont think came to that game with a very good plan. Stir in some poor muta usage to taste.
An expansion isn't just the hatchery. The extra drones to mine from and geysers etc. He would have been in a stronger position with just one expansion and a few dozen more lings or some lurkers on time. July did have hydra den up before spire after all.
I agree that the poor muta usage early was a critical factor in this game but overexpanding did not help at all.

Actually I think it is. He's pretty much the only pro who has the balls to go for something different than the usual one fac CC or FD push these days. 2 facs, 1 fac 1 port, even 3 facs... and he's extremely successful with those builds, which the P are not used to nowadays.

I would agree except that games like GoRush vs Iris earlier this week completely take things to another level. You see two amazing players clash, mind games ensue.
Its not uncommon to see a washout night of games nowadays, but thats actually always the case. Back in 02 or w/e when I started watching these there were definitely weeks with like 3 ZvZs and a TvP and all of them sucked. It was a little more new of course;] so sitting through it wasnt as torturing.

T1's not doing "that" bad, they've been extremely inconsistent in proleague for the first time in a few years but they still can win the proleague finals vs the winner of MBC/CJ.
As far as individual leagues go, they have "only" 4 players in (3 in OSL, 1 in MSL) due to their new "policy" and none of them is eliminated so far. Midas is the strongest contender of them all right now imho, because he still looks very motivated. Oov on the other hand doesn't look nearly as determined as he used to, I agree with you on that. That "don't fuck with me" angry-gorilla-like expression [1] he had all over his face a few years ago is totally gone. I wouldn't be surprised if he was kinda ill today though, something felt really wrong (low APM, extremely slow reaction time, very hesitant play...).
Oh PoP i forgot about teddy bear's fire. But he does seem determined but he chokes always. He has the skill to be a finalist definently. Oh i remember sometimes Oov looked like one hardass motherfucker. A example is in the sl(shin han?) on rov Oov vs. July oov was bottom right Oov had a look that showed an aura of scariness. Like he lost all motivation. I do remember i read something like he lost the will to play and someone said oov was gonna do something to bring back his motivation but it doesnt seem like it at all espcially after hearing how horrid the games were by reports.

I didnt see the match.But... much is sure to advance with 2 victories in 2 matches, which means there is only 1 spot left for the Ro16 and 1 spot for the wildcars. If oov wanted to make Nada a favour, he would've beaten dongrae, no ? My reasoning might be wrong, I'm kinda tired T.T

Oov looked sick and depressed. At the end he was on the verge of tears. He is also not nice enough to throw a match, because he could have handed the golden mouse over to boxer, or given him an easy road there, why would he throw a match for nada. Use brain plz. Oovs reactions were very slow, he also refused to take probes off the nat for quite a while and thus lost scvs he could have kept.

Yea Yellow played uber gay that game. That overlord also saw the probe scout waiting in the middle, so he took another route instead. Only way Anytime could have prevented it was by putting pylons at all 3 entrances, and even then it might have been too late.
