41 Starleague returns to us after a longer wait although the man behind it, 41 (Sa-il, aka Sayle's Korean Terran cousin), hasn't been idle at all, organizing and casting various sponsored matches and a King of the Hill clanleague. The third season of the league will exceed the last season's prizepool and feature the best players Afreeca can offer, minus Bisu. The schedule remains unclear, most certainly due to the two starleagues to still be announced, but if there's one thing 41TV has playing into his hands, it's the flexibility of online streaming.

Nice, thanks for the thread!

Noticed 41 changed up the dual tournament format so the first/second matches are now Bo3, rather than Bo1, from season 2, which makes more sense

Neat to see some new maps too. I don't think I've ever watched a live Colosseum or New Blood Ridge match

The map tests sponleague for the league is currently ongoing and should be over soon (Dec 21), hopefully some announcement will come after that. Maybe as a xmas present?^^

Don't count GuemChi out either. Though tlpd doesn't count it in, he's 17-17 in LSL sponleague. He showed some solid games, beat the zvp specialist hero 3-0 and was the first player to take 4 series in a row.

The announcements are still up on Love's wall and she's pretty meticulous about updating all events and such there, so I'd be quite surprised if she didn't take it down if it was off the table. sOoL also seems active and in contact with her. for some reason I read $9000 for first place and was like, wow, since when did 41SL get so big? haha. Regardless, great news imo! Hopefully all these BW tournament organizers come together and plan things out so there's no overlaps!

this is ridiculous imo. Sonic puts a ton of time into his tournaments and the least thing afreeca netizens can do is to just be quiet and let him put together another great tourney instead of bitching at his every time.

The league will start this Saturday 8pm kst with group A, it'll be played on various days in 7pm kst, two hours earlier than most events. I'll post full ro32 schedule when I get home.
