But yes, as Lmaster pointed out, the attendance has to be top-notch and there has to be a lot of available players for it to work out. DRATL worked out well since I think there were so many players that played and it had very few amount of walkovers as compared to DRTL Season 4 and 5.

I'm opposed to the winner's league(all-kill) format. It is fun to watch on the highest levels but this being a newbie practice type of league... I don't see the point.
It will be hard to implement smoothly due to the frequent postponements of games and the prolonged duration of all-kill series in comparison to regular series might cause even more postponements even further complicating things.
Second point is that this being somewhat a practice/newbie league we should promote playing over winning. I think it is less important who wins a match but rather to get as many players playing broodwar as possible. An all-kill format can in the extreme case have only half of the participant numbers compared to a classic series format.

Personally, I think games will be better if people know the map/opponent they'll play beforehand. I know that personally I'd prefer to prepare a build for a matchup, study the map, etc. rather than wondering if I'll get to play a good matchup/map or have to play 1 game or save the team and play 3 in a row lol.
even if they aren't better games per se, they might at least have some more interesting results.

Also, note to Wobulator - Manner Hatch can still be incorporated. If the entire team cannot play either we can alter the DRTL time/day, or just have it be known that all games vs MH will be pped

Or maybe Woublator-Manner hatch can merge with another team- and when those particular players are designated to play, just pp the match-ups. Birdie pp'd every single one of his matches last season and I think there was another New Zealander or some sort that did the same on our team.

You mean sB.Noddy? Also, the Zbigneff dude is a guy called Sinedd, who got himself banned from Teamliquid for whatever reason. He tried to sign up for the last season or the season before of DRIT and I believe Harem figured out who he was and banned him.

So he is. I saw the mod note wondering about a second chance or not, but didn't bother to click on the other account linked. So in probability he won't be available, unless the mod note is resolved in his favour. Unlikely given he has made 3 alt accounts or more since being perm'd rather than waiting it out.
So that makes 6 free agents.
