Hell yeah TLS! DragOn looks in good shape. Sziky is going to get his 3rd TLS title in a row... It will make the TLS championship exciting, just like Idra was the man to beat in TSL2 .
that's such a perfect picture wingpawn. thank you.
and I mean nothing against sziky, but he's so good that I have to root against him. go trutacz! trutacz has shown us some really high class zvz through the tourney as well, so I think it's possible!
Yeah... It's a bit disappointing. but the gg timing is correct, he was mined out in his main and lost his whole army. I think against 4hhydra when they will follow up with lurker (most of the times) it's probably better to delay the third until you have a large army then go into double expand. Then again, hindsight bias.
sorry for bad games today, i broke up with my girlfriend last night and did not feel into playing. In game 2 I felt I shouldve won if i didnt forget 1+ ground weapons, which is pretty much essential in all pvz, especially vs mass ling style. Actually I felt i shouldve won in game 1 as well, but i guess im too noob to secure a 3rd base with an advantage. Game 3 I just gave up..sad play from me. congrats to technics

Well at least you broke up with her.
Sayle just put him on blast "She broke up with Dragon"... Either way, Trutacz vs Sziky!!
yeah perfect decision making by sziky, and looks like he won the game now.. but very promising start by trutacz, frankly he has been winning the micro battles, and that means it's possible to win future games!
couldn't trutacz kill the spores with micro(pullng hurt mutas)? not sure if the 2nd one was made to spore. shouldnt he have tried anyway? btw i dont really know if he could just asking.
that was much closer than the 4-0 would indicate. some small decisions and super close fights ended up going sziky's way, I think this could easily have been 2-2 instead right now.
but yea he's still king, and showcased that like, even when he's not mechanically superior then he has other areas of the game where he is best. totally complete player.
Huh ggs, thank you all who were cheering for me. Tried to make it not so much one-sided, but i totally lost my mind and gave up after i lost 2 games which i should have won(probably). Congratz to Sziky, he's a superior player

Great games! You showed a lot of fight. A lot of nailbiters! Probably my fav TLS finals so far.
Good job Trutacz sad you didn't win cuz would've helped my Liquibet XD sadface also because no Sziky vs Bisu showmatch Excited to see TLS Championships

If Sayle was more in practice, we totally woulda showmatched for you guys. But there are always the events between now and TLS Championship ^^
Well played to both guys tonight. Trutacz's play hit another level, taking on Sziky like that. But what a player Sziky has become. A real force.
Well, then make it a highlight of TLS championship! Elegant vs Sayle showmatch; no matter what level of practice you guys have, there's always a possibility to give some handicaps or offracing odds to make it more even.

lol you cant say that, win is a win. If thats the case then TechnicS couldve easily go 4:2 against Sziky last season, instead 2:4, cuz 2 of his games he was advantageous enough for us vewers to think he is 90% gonna win. Then he lose by tiny little things. That little things actually is the very big things that decide the games. In game 1 and 2 i dont think trutacz had so much advantage, he lost game 1 as soon as he decided to cut drones and go for fast spire, sziky superrior eco was just going to kill him in the later stage of the game anyways. Game 2 same, going behind in eco against sziky is sure loss.
Gongratulations to Sziky, Trutacz and Technics, for their finish. Great ZvZ games i must admit.
Sziky is the most creative foreign player in terms of tactics i have ever seen. His abillity to adapt and improvise is way above all the preparations his opponents can possiblly do, with TechnicS being the closest to his skill.
Think about it, Flash never had a game plan while he was the best of the best. Preparing situations and actions by yourself that involve other people is not what will work naturally(take conversation for example). You must do what you do + force your opponent to do what you want him to do and then putting all this to work is so much harder. Instead of working on understanding your opponents mind and adapt, let him do what he wants to do and feel he is on the right way and when the time comes he will just realise he failed badly. One must have huge game understanding for such things, but thats an skill applyable for all the opponents you face.
Creativity --->Improvisation/Adaptation thats the most important skills of the high level game by my view, and thats what make the game really an art.
Its like an jam session with musicians, every one of you have some skills and understanding of the music you make, but all that matters is what you create at the moment - the flow.
I really want to see some interviews with sziky, im sure he dont just play game by thinking, he must trully have an inpiration and real passion to be able to play like that.
sometimes in bw if you are around their skill level, you can first lose 4-0 to a player and beat him 4-0 the next day. yes, ultimately it's skill and yes sziky totally deserved to win because he's the best, smartest and most complete. but the thing is that 4-0 usually looks like one player was totally outplayed, that wasn't the case here. in the first two games trutacz won the micro battles and looked just as good as sziky. and then, after winning the first two, sziky had the momentum and genuinely dominated games 3 and 4. games one and two were really close. they were definitely not decided by trutacz making too few drones, they were decided by sziky recognizing that he was at a disadvantage and smartly backstabbing with mutalisks. but like, this type of backstab is only something you do in a zvz if you are at a disadvantage. the very fact that sziky decided to attack with a lower amount of mutalisks than trutacz had - which means death if you are caught in the middle - is proof of the fact that he knew he was at a disadvantage, otherwise he would never do it.
also, people complimenting trutacz for his play is not actually an attack on technics. frankly though, I thought this was just as close of a series as the 4-2 he played.
U understand me wrong for some things. Im not saying game 1 wasnt close and think that sziky did the backstab, because he know he cant fight superror number mutas of trutacz and he saw that opportunity to put them to use. Yes, he was disadvantageous on the muta count, but had greater eco and spore defences. On the part with reverse 4-0 i highly doubt that will happen in the current form of the two, as far as my understanding goes. Trutacz has really impressive micro, maybe the best for non pro foreigneer, but Sziky is much more complex player in every other aspect. And i dont take compliment for Trutacz as insult for TechnicS or anything like that i just gave you Tech for example of my point.
don't get me wrong. I wasn't trying to imply that trutacz could beat sziky 4-0 the next time they played. sziky is the better player. but it wasn't a complete blowout, trutacz was very close to winning two of the games and I'd say he was actually unlucky to lose 0-4.

This is true, once you lose two games you should have won you feel like shit and throw away the rest. At least for me momentum made a big difference in my games.
Are you going to create a playlist for the finals on the TLS youtube channel? This is the only way the games not getting get spoiled (unless you're going to make a seperate post with vods ofc) ...also, thanks so much for this great tournament!
