No team has any disadvantage from the lineups being posted a bit late
I'm not exactly thrilled about it either, but nonetheless the rules are there and clear. As far as the quoted statement, I don't totally agree because one team could be planning to do a bunch of gangbusters practice and without those lineups their practice time is limited...now two hours is basically nothing, but still the concept exists, and the line has to be drawn somewhere.
As always though, if the other teams captain is okay with "declining" the penalty that is fine by me.

I agree it sucks and I do feel bad because it sort of cheapens any win, but at the same time rules are rules.

Actually, as I posted earlier, if you 4-1, it's still possibly to win, since the series score will be 4-1, and with the -2 penalty, it'll be 4-3.
Ex. SunKhan beats mSj 4-1 in a series, with SunKhan's mG.arb being the only loser. Either subtract 2 sets from SunKhan or add 2 sets for mSj, and regardless, SunKhan wins.
So you have to lose 2 games to lose :O
As for showing up, eh, you submitted lineups late, what can you do. Dug your own grave.

That kind of penalty is fine, but not during playoffs.
Now there is just no point to practise for the playoffs because its just waste of time ..
possibility of winning match with -2 set handicap is too low
edit' u could at least make -1 set handicap so if the score is 3-2 it goes into ace match or something like that
-2 is too much

It just should be fair played , dont look for easy win cause u smelled opportunity with 2 teams being late with lineups 2 hours.
Lmaster said both captains can refuse to accept the penalty, keep it fair and allow all team to have same chances .

I personally don't care if the penalties aren't enforced because this is the playoffs, but I understand why they are there. Trying to make this league a zero tolerance no bullshit league and this is a step in the right direction. However, if the teams agree to not enforce it I think that should also be an option. I personally don't want to win or lose with any help. I don't know how the rest of the team feels.

theres not even a point in showing up if thats the case, its fucking ridiculous. Doing it during pre-playoffs is fine, but during playoffs its a huge waste of a time

Rules exist to facilitate legitimate competition, not hinder it. A penalty in the playoffs delegitimizes the playoffs and by extension everything that came before it...

Hmm, then for punishment, Courage should be allowed to re-arrange our lineups while Hwaiting Oz keeps their lineup the way it is for submitting lineups late!
Just kidding, of course, I don't care. Courage will win everything anyways. For SunKhan, you guys are getting to whiny too early. Haven't even heard an opinion from mSj, and judging by how their mindset is "we just want to play some fun games", they probably won't care and will ignore a -2 set penalty.

If Courage is allowed to rescind the penalty for OZ, we choose to do so.
Rules once made, though, are to be enforced, not ignored when inconvenient. In future events perhaps organizers will consider different penalties, but since this one is established I believe it is the one we should operate with.
